I smell Franchise (get it? It sounds like french fries). If you look around you today everything you see is a spin off from something, especially in Hollywood.
Everything is a sequel, prequel or a Joey (poor Joey), I have to say it gets really annoying but sometimes I find something I actually like like the new transformer animated series.
I like cars, I like robots, I like animation, I like bad jokes and I like apieeezzza-piiess (in Mario voice). If you like all of that stuff too then lets be friends.
I found out about this show after a spontaneous Toys R Us visit initiated by Wes, the new transformer toys look really cool. Anyways enough being a kid for one post back to being an adult.

needs to have more better quality comics. seems like anyone can draw something and have it come out. i prefer pixar myself. that would be neato if pixar churned out a nice kids show.

That is why Wongfu has such a strong fanbase, because you provide original and creative material. With each new short, we grow with you. Though there are common themes through your work, each piece is unique.
In this day and age, everything become so complicated, like the spin-offs. But Wongfu success lies in going back to basics. Like they say “why fix, what’s not broken?”
Maybe we can slip back in time and relive the days of using our imagination to defend the Earth from evil forces in our living room.
Ted, sadly I don’t like cars, but I like everything else, is 80% still passing for the friend qualification?

I grew up with my cousin’s retro megatron toy. If you fold it up, wound it up, it’d zoom forward (much like the hot wheels cars, which I also inherited) and end up standing in its transformed state.

Look a little cartoon-ish. It seems to me a lot of animated TV shows seem to be made with more circular designs and animation that resembles some smooth Flash work. Then there’s the American cartoons designed to look like an Anime. Can’t say I’m a big fan of this Transformers style of art. Personally I’ve always been a BEAST WARS fan myself. Those were the good old days.

Haha.. its true though in regards to the spin-offs.. there’s hardly any original shows these days…
And it aint geeky to like Transformers – they’re cool

i went shopping for a transformers action figure with a friend for his nephew…and we thought the animated series toys weren’t “macho” enough for a 7-year-old. but that meant buying a decepticon because the autobots were all sold out. =(
poor kid. stuck with a villain toy when all his friends are playing with the good guys.
