I’m sure everyone probably know already because you’re a bigger youtubber than I am but I just had to post something to say how great this new feature is and the huge difference it’s going to be for your viewing pleasure. Thanks Youtube for being the last video service to have widescreen, appreciate it though.

I definitely will be getting the One Day HK dvd. I must see the short with Wes in it since I saw all the others already @ the NYU event. I must own a copy of all these great shorts.

haha, so that’s what happened
I am on vacation in Las Vegas and when I was watching the new Wongfu blogs, I noticed it was widescreen
I thought it had something to do with either:
a) Las Vegas somehow getting youtube with widescreen before we had it in the Bay Area
b) my relative’s cooler Windows Vista + widescreen monitor
c) Phil pretending to be gangster and convince Youtube to show widescreen videos
d) Ted hacking into Youtube’s server
e) Wes blowing up Youtube headquarters (sorry.. bad reference to the blowing up ice cream truck incident)
guess not.

Wow. That’s actually quite an improvement. Then again, I’m 56k and just download everything and put it into an FLV player so I can manually widescreen it. Still looks a lot nicer though.
