Who knows Wong Fu? Wong Fu who? Okay…well seeing that you found your way to our blog…most of you probably know what we’re all about already. But if not…here’s a few new words from the world of Wong Fu.
On our stop at UC Berkeley, we met up with our good friend and supporter HoChie. We actually bumped into each other a few times before (once in Chicago!), but this time, we had some time to answer some questions. HoChie heads taiwaneseamerican.org it’s a great place to find out all the latest happenings for second generation Taiwanese Americans. Definitely check it out. Anyway, we were honored to be featured in their recent spotlight. So here’s the interview. Enjoy!

oh nice new header picture ;] of course i know wong fu, who doesnt? lol. i had read the interview a couple weeks ago already so im good. its nice to know more about you guys and thanks for the great advice. i have an interest in the arts and stuff but i dont think i have the potential to go on with it nor the talent- but i’ll try. :T you guys are really inspirational and i think your achievements will allow the rest of us asian americans to expand our horizons, with the extra nudge. (: anyways, what really interests me in the interview is how you guys came up with the name wong fu- care to explain? :]

Sigh. You guys are so lucky for all the opportunities you’ve got. Wish I have great classes with great people in it like you guys had… we don’t even have film courses here. Glad to see you guys are making the best of it… and getting even more of a spotlight!
Great interview… like reading those big fancy interviews with the big stars… in this case up and coming stars.

Update the faq? =X
Once upon a time, I too wanted to interview you guys for a school magazine, but HoChie as an interview >> me. The only question I have left is: will fans will get a chance to see “rejected” work (for lack of a better word) that never made their way to the Internet?

What an interesting interview. I think it’s cool that you guys met each other through a class and stuck together. Makes me wonder what kind of cool people I have in my classes. I bet there’s like a lot! I’m glad you guys chose to take your life in this direction because I love your shorts! I totally agree with your opinion that people should balance their creative side with their other side (not even sure what to call that other side).
“We essentially live, eat, and breathe Wong Fu Productions” Yeah I kinda noticed that. You guys seem so busy and have so much going on with the blogs, videos, touring, etc. I really appreciate all the work you put into what you do every day. Thanks! =]
