Guess what? We can add another name to the list of talented new artists we’ve met. Phil’s talked about David Choi and Sam Geunjin Kang, and now I wanna introduce Olivia Thai. We had lunch with her yesterday and just chatted a bit. It’s great knowing that there’s so many skilled singer/songwriters out there. It’s even greater being able to connect with them and see how down to earth they are. It’s the greatester when you can make up fake superlative words to describe such talented individuals.
Remember The Turn Off, that anti-smoking short we made a while ago? Olivia was also involved in that campaign too! It sure is a small world. It’s a small world…after all. It’s a small small world. < And that is the extent of my singing capability. You want the real deal? Check this out!

It would be so cool if you made future shorts with these up and coming Asian American artists as lead roles. I like it when you guys do collaboration work like in You’ve got a friend with FM. Sometimes introduction alone just ain’t enough..like, I heard of FM before but only after seeing them in one of your shorts did I really start listening and buying their music.
Btw, Wes I like your hair, what hair product are you using to get it to look that way?

hi olivia thai (: haha, the title to the blog rhymed. her music is melodic in the first one and random in the second, quite amusing. she should keep doing what she does as it seems like she has a passion for it. ^^ its also really cool that shes part of the anti-smoking campaign, more people should get involved like you guys. the world would be better with us all making a difference one step at a time.
