You know how they say third time’s a charm? Well last night was the premiere of America’s Best Dance Crew: Season 3! Why was it charming? Because our fellow International Secret Agents, QUEST are official contenders and they killed it last night. I wasn’t able to see the show on television, but thanks to some easy internet searching and fob-like bootleg action, I got my fix of pure dance amazingness.
For those that don’t know, we got to work with Quest when we shot FM’s Dance Like Michael Jackson music video. It was crazy collab between our combined three groups. Slick moves, cool sounds, and we were there to capture it all. Asian American talent is finally recognized. Everyone show Quest some love because these guys/girls deserve it.
Here’s a little interesting fact too. When ABDC first started out, I was suprised to find out my friend from college was on JabbaWockeez. Yup. I used to work with Chris (he’s the one that wears the mask….oh huh? They all wear….oh.), at the UCSD Graphics Department.

When we were seniors there, he did motion graphics and I did print stuff. Pretty crazy right? So…one things for sure. I’m cool by association. And I can dance…by association. And it’s forsureforsure now because of our connection with Quest too! Yayz. I wonder who’ll be next haha.

@ monica – though Lydia isn’t performing with Quest this season, she is still on the show! She’s the one and only girl in Boxcuttuhz.
Sadly, though I like Lydia, my loyalty lies with Quest (FTW!). Ever since SYTYCD season 1. *sigh*

i don’t watch abdc, not that i hate it or anything. i guess i’ve been too lazy to go to the tv and watch it. but i heard one of the jabbawockeez members was an alumni from my high school.

hey…you know you can watch the entire episode on MTV.com under the ABDC section. No bootleg needed. Although it might be a bit harder to find JUST Quest(who are awesome) but it’s much better quality.

That was so awesome! I haven’t been keeping up with ABDC lately but I think I will this season. I will be cheering for QUEST. And Wes you do know that you’re already freakin cool. And all those things just happen to stack up on ur already cool self.
