I know we talk a lot about these guys, but it’s really because they’re working their butts off to do some serious stuff that no one is doing right now. Far*East Movement has a song ”Girls on the dance floor” that’s on the Top 7@7 on LA’s Power106 (the biggest hip hop station in socal, if not the whole state). S’a dope song, we used it in our short “Up In Da Club” and it’s getting big. They need your vote right now to keep them there. PLEASE, click this link, Check FM, and Click Vote. Seriously takes 5 seconds. Please pass it on to your friends because…
…I hope you guys can see that, this is a big deal! If you look at that list, they’re on there with major recording artists…and they’re the only ones who aren’t signed to a major label. That’s huge. They’re running w/ the big boys and actually making an impression, w/out all the millions of dollars from labels, w/out MTV videos…strictly with support from fans like you and me. I hate to play the race card too, but they’re also one of the VERY few out there right now really representing for AAs in mainstream music. You gotta support, even if it’s not your fav genre of music. So please vote, tell your friends, and vote again in an hour. =)
On a totally related note, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to these guys…

The Stereotypes. They are the ones who produced the song you’re voting for. Ya kno what that means? They made the beat and built the song from the first note…like Timbaland, like the Neptunes. And these guys are doing serious things. They’ve produced songs that were on Bow Wow’s and Omarion’s CD “Face Off”, Ne-Yo’s “Year of the Gentleman”, and you know that HUGE song by Danity Kane, “Damaged”? That was theirs. We’ve been lucky to work with them in the past too. Remember our short “You’ve Got a Friend“? In part 3, in the studio, that’s them and their music. They’re really cool, nice guys.
I’m telling you, there’s some major talent out there among AAs, it just doesn’t get seen much, but hopefully that inspires you, cause it really inspires me. Check out the Stereotypes hanging out w/ Ne-Yo!
Dang, I can’t wait til the day we can show you clips of us playing video games w/ Ne-Yo. haha. right.

I always get excited to hear FM on POWER106. I actually herd it today and I kind of freaked out my friends when I sort of screamed. haha.
