Our ISA chronicles begin last Wednesday morning. After pulling all nighters in preparation for our trip up and the show, it was a beautiful (and HOT) day for a car ride up to the Bay Area.
After some mixup with the rental car (ISA seems to be plagued with travel mishaps) Linda and us hop in our packed Chevy Equinox in the late afternoon. Ted drove the first leg, I drove a bit of the middle, and Wes brought us home. It was a pleasant trip and it helps that I especially enjoy driving CA during the spring because the hills are all green with grass instead of the typical yellow, and all the wild flowers are blooming (CA poppies are our state flower) as you can see in the first pic.
The next day, the work begins. It was the day before the show and there were some things to take care of. First, a charity event at the Cameron House, a youth and family center in SF Chinatown (any of you from there?). Through one of the sponsors, Verizon, we donated some tickets to this org for the kids. They took us to their rooftop basketball court which happens to be the one that they shot a scene of “Pursuit of Happyness” on. Remember? Yeah, it’s this court!
high depth of field = basketball hoop that looks 20 stories tall. But man, amazing view huh?!
Anyway, we do the “ceremony” up there with FM and the Stereotypes, and then stick around to play some bball on the infamous court. Knockout was the game of choice. In fact, if you wanna see a video clip of the game, click HERE. I made it pretty far, but ultimately lost to one of the girls. Yeah, I said it…I don’t mind! <buries face> The winner is one of the guys from the Stereotypes…so not fair. =P
After the Cameron house we had a nice relaxing meal with FM in Chinatown, grabbed some dim sum, and then headed to check some ppl into the hotel where we continued the work by assembling badges and tickets lists.
Cathedral Hill Hotel..not too shabby.
Finally Wes, Ted, and myself head back to Wes’ to do some last minute editing for the concert we had in 15 hours. Of course, we get distracted and procrastinate by going onto BlogTV at 1am. We really like doing these random shows. It was a lot of fun, I think us being tired made us extra…weird amusing. Make sure to follow us on Twitter so you know when we go on, or subscribe.
Ok this was a long on. We’ll continue on another day.

Hello, when I try to open up pages I only end up seeing half of the post. I do not know if it is caused by my web browser(Opera) or not, anyone else experiencing this problem?
