YOU CAN DO IT! The theme of this short blog entry is all about supporting some really wonderful recent upcoming events. And not about about ugly photo-finishes at a relay. Sorries.
Last year we had a great event at USC hosted by their CASA (Chinese American Student Association). Now, CASA is having their 10th annual culture show and it’s surely a spectacle! This year’s show is a musical! That’s right. Singing and dancing included. It is called “Unforgettable.” We were able to catch a glimpse of it at their rehearsal last week and just that, was win. Not to mention FM is going to be premiering some new music videos at the show as well. A lot time, talent and hard work went into the event. So if you guys are in the LA area on March 7th, you should definitely check this out! Here’s the official website for more details.
Okay, so who hasn’t been watching this seasons America’s Best Dance Crew? Well crawl out from under your rock and get in the know! Last week it was a showdown between Quest and Beat Freaks. You can watch it here. Both crews were stunning in their performances. But our vote goes to Quest. Those guys are unbelievable and personally, I love how they create and entertain with such showmanship and character. Also, we have a relationship with the Quest guys so we gotta support! Please please please vote for them if you think they rocked it. Vote for them if you like dance crews that start with the letter Q. Vote for them if wanna help propel Asian American’s into the entertainment industry. Vote for them if you believe Asians are more than age old stereotypes. Vote for them if you do anything that Wong Fu tells you to do. Vote for them if you don’t care and just feel like clicking something! Voting closes on thursday so this is a final push for our Quest boys!

i tried to vote like two hundred times..
but as i’m not an american citizen the system won’t let me..

Thats events sounds like fun. But I’m stuck down in the vallejo area. If its closer to the bay area I will definately support the event. Maybe even next time I’ll give you guys another present. I took a look at the quest crew video and I hella loved their routine. I missed it last week so it was cool getting able to see it. But I definately voted for them. Quest crew all the way!
