The epic battle between sword and really small/fast moving/metal object rages on. But luckily our man Isao Machii the “Modern Samurai” is here to defend us. I posted the first video a few days ago, and now here’s Part 2 of the sword swinging madness. Highlights:
00:45 – cuts the wick of a burning candle. high speed camera of this one is cool.
02:30 – cuts the skin off an asparagus horizontally. Asparagus because celery is sO “Sword Tricks 2007″. Where have you beeN?Â
04:40 – cuts the tail of an arrow that’s being shot at him. This one seems “easier” than the BB he cut in Part 1… Wow, I can’t believe I just said that this was, easy. Machii please don’t hurt me.
08:30 – cuts a steel plate in half vertically. I did this today, except instead of a steel plate it was saran wrap. Same thing.
All these amazing feats of strength and precision were fun to watch and all, but really, my favorite parts were listening to the Japanese hosts and audience react. WHOAAA! AHHH!! WAAHH! WOW!!! OHHH!!* If this were anime, they’d have a flashing multicolored background moving rapidly behind them. WAHHH!!!
*That’s how I was tonight while playing Street Fighter 4 for the first time.

Lol the asparagus one was pretty amusing – I’m sure if it was an anime, his hair would be flaring up with his veins poppin’ out all over the place too XD (Good ol’ dragonball.. it’s been all movie-sized now, just not the same…!!

hahaha Phil your so funny. But I can’t believe your playing street fighter 4 for the first time just now. But it doesn’t make some sense. you guys are really busy. There are a lot of games your missing out on. If you liked Street Fighter 4 and Halo then I bet you’ll like Left 4 Dead. I recommend waiting for the GOTY version but get a used one from gamestop of EB games and try it out for 7 days then return it if you don’t want it anymore.
I just hope you like killing zombies. btw watch out for the witch, hunter, and tank if you do play it
