It’s Earth Day y’alls . Please take a moment to sing to our lovely planet which giveth us so mucheth. I hope you all love our planet as much as Wong Fu does. See, people might not know this…but Wong Fu Productions is actually a very eco-friendly company. Our carbon imprint is like, nussinG! Check out our green bragging list.
1. We work at home = Â we don’t commute = we don’t drive.
2. Our neighborhood doesn’t have a recycling pickup, but we still separate our bottles/cans and give them to old chinese ladies that come by and want them.
3. We eat out often, and whenever we get to-go boxes, we never take the plastic bag.
4. Ted enjoys the color green.
5. We have no life = we don’t go out = we don’t drive.
6. Phil uses old plastic bags as his trashbags. (Target has the best plastic bags)
7. We walk to most of the restaurants we eat at. (good exercise anyway)
8. Wes likes to eat salad, which is green.
9. We are pretty much working in our rooms all day/night, so we only use one light…AND they’re energy efficient bulbs!
10. We don’t make any weapons of mass destruction. Just weapons of mass AWWwww.
11. We don’t poach baby seals.
12. Phil doesn’t do laundry = less water consumption.
13. We take lots of pictures of earth, so we love nature. And then we post the pictures online, so we’re beautifying the interweb thus making other ppl enjoy da earth.
14. Wes is a packrat, he doesn’t throw anything away…seriously, he produced like, 1 bag of trash a month.
15. We have a GINORMOUS stockpile of cardboard boxes because we can’t bring ourselves to toss them. I’m sure they’ll come in use again someday.
16. We do…like, everything together, so we always carpool.
17. Since we eat out most of the time, we almost never go grocery shopping, meaning we never need to get plastic OR paper bags.
18. Everything we do (video, photo, business, store) exists in the digital world, meaning little to no paper or wasted materials. (this could be bad when the robots take over and delete our lives.)
19. Did I mention we like, never drive.
20. Ted likes rocks.
jk phil does laundry….sometimes.
In all seriousness though, let’s take care of our planet. Recycle, reuse, reduce, refrain from being a butthead. Go that extra step to not be a earth slob. g’day!

In my view, the post is actually the most insightful on this worthwhile subject. I agree with your conclusions and expectantly look forward to your upcoming updates. Saying thanks will not just be adequate, for the great lucidity in your writing. I will grab your rss feed at once to stay advised of any updates. Great work and much success in your endeavours!

April 24, 2009 at 1:54 am
hahahahah this is mos def one of my favorite posts. Some of these contradicted themselves or contradicted past Vlogs!!! MHM! but very interesting interesting facts. haha Happy belated Earth Day!
April 23, 2009 at 8:34 pm
Hmm, about #6…how does Phil use old plastic bags if neither one out of the three of you take the plastic bags? o___o
Since I didn’t finish reading at first, I thought maybe you guys get the bags from buying groceries but since you guys hardly ever do it…..how does he get bags for the trashcans?
April 23, 2009 at 1:10 am
I’m going to have to confiscate your Weapons of Mass AWWWWW.
April 23, 2009 at 12:18 am
Hahaha, very cute. My family does the plastic bag thing too.
Bravo to you guys. Eat less beef (or meat in general) and you can help too.
April 22, 2009 at 11:18 pm
hahaha you guys are so funny. I really like reason 10. That made me laugh. It was so cute too. Now that the semester is nearing an end and I don’t have to do as much driving anymore I’m planning to do much more than I’ve been doing for the earth. Like walking/biking to things nearby: i.e. work, grocery store, target, etc. And start remembering to unplug everything before I leave the house.

#6 I’m pretty sure every asian does that ahaha.
I’m also really glad you guys don’t poach baby seals. Because if you did, I might just have to report you to PETA.
I really enjoyed reading the list, it gave me lulz.
Liking the new banner as well.
April 22, 2009 at 9:35 pm

P.S. #3 and #5 don’t go well together…
#3 – you eat out often
#5 – you don’t go out
April 22, 2009 at 8:17 pm
Happy Earth Day! Thanks for being green. If you want to be even greener, usable bags are a better option than plastic, but then you won’t have any trashbags
April 22, 2009 at 7:53 pm
aww i like the new picture! & happy earth day!
Since you mentioned “Our neighborhood doesn’t have a recycling pickup,” I think Wong Fu should campaign for a recycling pickup system! That way it will get more people to recycling, which = more green loving.
April 22, 2009 at 7:12 pm
LMAO .. happy earth day!
i love the new picture!
April 22, 2009 at 6:32 pm
All of those were completely legitimate ways of being eco-friendly.
They were all also hilarious ways of being eco-friendly.
April 22, 2009 at 6:22 pm
Target does have the best plastic bags. This list was hilarious. As for #15, you can never go wrong with a giant box fort.
April 22, 2009 at 6:21 pm
I hope those to go boxes aren’t made of styrofoam!
Chinese to go plastic soup containers are the best.
April 22, 2009 at 5:36 pm
Yay Earth Day! I’m a total pack rat too >> But I like the color green
I’ve been preserving paper, by writting smaller… so when I take notes I don’t take up as much paper compared to others =P But then again.. that just means I have more paper unused.. Ahh well.
April 22, 2009 at 3:53 pm
uh… in the picture, it looks as if Wes has a big belly [:
& .. one bag of trash/month?!! NIICE;D
April 22, 2009 at 1:03 pm

#3 – if you wanna be even more eco friendly, bring your own tupperware so you don’t hafta use a togo box
#6 – totally agree, target DOES have the best plastic bags cuz their plastic isn’t super thin like most plastic bags and is super durable
April 22, 2009 at 11:26 am
