There’s something bothering you.  I know it.  You’re fed up from watching Wong Fu videos on a limited and tiny YouTube player, right?  Yea, I knew it.  That’s pretty much the one and only thing that’s keeping your life from perfection.  Don’t worry, you’re not alone.  We here at WFP totally recognize the gravity of this unbelievable situation.  And we’re here to offer some solutions.  But even these, have their downsides.  Observe:

Problem: Watching WFP shorts online sux on a small online media player like YouTube.
Solution: (As follows)

1. Move face closer to monitor = Bad for eyez = Fail.
2. Fullscreen it = Poor resolution = Fugly = Fail.
3. Buy a bigger monitor = Broke = Fail.
4. Just stop watching = Wes/Ted/Phil Sadface = Epic Fail.

The best solution?  Come watch our official selections at the LA Asian Pacific Film Festival! That’s right.  Five of our short films have been selected for the festival and will be shown throughout the week!  We’ve been part of this festival before, so we can tell you there’s a lot of great programs to catch.  Here’s what we have in this year’s fest:

Fri, May 1: At Musing’s End (one of our shorts that was selected to Cannes Film Fest)
Sun, May 3: See Through and The Returning (both from The One Days: HK)
Mon, May 4: Two True (from The One Days: HK)
Wed, May 6: Dream Line (Prequel to The Spare)

HERE are the exact details of each program and ticket information as well.  The festival lasts about a week and a half, so if you want to watch some great work and even talk to the directors, here’s your chance.  Hopefully we’ll see you there!

  1. “At Musing’s End” was the first of your short films that I saw, and I was hugely (and pleasantly) surprised at how AMAZING it was. The screenplay was so sophisticated, and the cinematography made it way too good to be watched on the puny Youtube screen. Your female lead also did a very convincing job with her role, without saying all that much.

I’m a BIG FAN, Wes! But I’m sure you guys at WFP have no shortage of that. :)

    All the best.

  2. At Musing’s End was even better on the big(ger) screen! haha I loved how awkward it got when the photographer kept flashing his camera in your face while you were talking.

  3. But move face closer to monitor and you get free laser eye surgery XD!

Anyway, that’s so awesome. Wish I lived.. well, anywhere near the venue ><; but I’m sure it’ll be great – hope you have a great time! =]

  4. That’s really awesome guys!!! Hope you all have lots of fun at the event. =)

  5. found a typo “five our our” lo..but anyways..I wish I could go…too bad i love so far. good luck with the event!!

  6. ahha funny. So much failing. awww…wish I could go. LA is so far. This problem is not solved for me. I’ll settle for option two, my eyes are bad enough as it is. =(

  7. I must say, I have been watching one days HK on my plasma widescreen since its the only dvd player in the house that works. =)

Its pret-ty awesome, alas i cannot fly all the way to LA from the UK.

  8. Man ol man… driving down from the bay area to watch on the big screen is quite worth it.. but stupid school will be in the way. Congrats guys!!! Maybe you guys can even make something for the 2010 SF A Ffestival :) Is this almost as exciting as when you guys got into the European Film Festival? partayy

  9. WFP at the LAAPFF! w00t!

  10. This blog is epicfail for those who don’t live in LA though :( -fail-
