052609caseyYesterday we met up with an old friend. Not old age wise, he’s technically younger than us… but old as in, from waaaay back in the day, when we made our first movie “A Moment with You“. Casey Hoffman, who played “Dustin” one of the lead roles, was in town and we got together for a quick reunion. Catching up with friends is always fun. We were all amazed that it’s been 3 years since we made the movie…I guess a lot has happened in 3 years, but thankfully he’s still the same cool guy and yes, still as handsome as ever. Take a walk down memory lane…

These are some production photos from 2006

052609casey2Casey had to do a lot of this while acting as Dustin. “Ok Casey, just look off, be pensive.”

We were on edge most of the time during production.

Ok, enough puns for now. I was punning out. aiie, alright that was bad. I’m really done now.
Anywho, hanging out with him and thinking back to when we were working together was a good reminder about why I like to make “stuff”. Telling a story, but then also creating happy real life stories while making the “fake” ones. Did that make sense? Prob not. But it does to me, and it helps me to think of the positive things, seeing as how pretty soon, we’ll hafta start our next feature. I’ll just keep watching the video below to remind me how “fun” it was… and not how much pressure/stress/work it was.

man, what a journey we are on.

  1. that standing near the edge of the cliff picture looks so good! …. and scary.

  2. that mountain picture looks pretty awesome!

  3. Haha, his combined name would be Dustin Hoffman, omg foreshadowing

  4. “AMY” was a great beginning.
Looking forward to “When Five Fell” and future full-length films!
