Day 2 of shooting our new short took place last Tuesday in Hacienda Heights. Major major thanks to “New World Center” on Colima and Azusa (99 Ranch for all the locals) for being so cool and letting us shoot within their plaza…and more thanks to “Whimsical Yogurt and Gelato” for trusting us and being down to support (Rockband at a yogurt shop? that’s awesome). The day started off as any other day… with me saying “good afternoon” to a couple of my darker skinned friends.
The day continued with some more cast (read: friends volunteering their time) coming by and, ah yes, some costumes and props. Thanks for demonstrating Ted.
Wes is super shocked to find out that he’s in this short. Jen is surprised to be returning to another Wong Fu production.
Oh yeah… a reporter from CNN came by to do an interview of us and also check out the shoot (Yes, that CNN). Susan put on a good smile for the much superior cameraman. But that’s for the next entry.
Yes, again, I told you nothing about the short… but aren’t you getting curious? =P A couple more days of shooting and that should be that.
