Hi everyone! I’m back from exploring the wilderness. I was gone for about two weeks and didn’t really tell that many people where I went. Sorry to leave you in the dark like that. Gotta keep my mystery ya know? Haha just kidding. Well now that I’m back, I’d love to share with you guys. While I was gone, I took a lot of photos. A lot a lot a lot. Here are a few quick ones from my point and shoot cam. Eventually, I’ll get around to uploading the photos from the big cam. But for now these’ll do. Enough already, where’d Wes go?!
Me with my friends Kimby and Andrea. Traveling light! Everything– on our backs!
Some Peruvian scenery as we take the train to the city, Aguas Calientes.
Walking out of the station, we’re surrounded by beautiful mountains and peaks!
Around 6am at Machu Picchu! Walking through and seeing some Llamas grazing.
Looking back at one section of the Incan ruins just before the sun comes out.
This was basically me during the whole trip. Too much to see!
A tough hike up a mountain and looking back down at MP! So high!
Spent all day exploring the ruins and enjoying one of the 7 wonders of the world!
This is the shot that was on all the postcards haha.
The early morning view from one of our hostels in Cuzco.
Arriving at Puno, a city next to Lake Titicaca. Yes, laugh all you want. Titicaca!
Viewing huge flying condors next to Colca Canyon! Twice as deep as Grand Canyon!
Colca Valley, layered with amazing terraces!
These are just some of places we visited. There was a lot more. Maybe I’ll go into some more details later on. The world is a big place. And I intend on seeing as much of it as I can. You should too! Anyone else go on some fun adventures this summer? Let us know

Hey Wes! I went to another country too, my homeland, Philippines! this summer.
You’re completely right! The world is a big place, but that doesn’t mean we should just stay where we are.. Let’s go out there and have some adventure!

Curiosity killed the cat and not the man so how did you guys set up this trip? Did you guys plan everything out? Signed up through an exploration program?
I’ve just returned from a trip to the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans through a coalition called NY2NO. The trip was so shocking and enriching because it highlighted all social problems, such as racism and classism, that are unfortunately not being properly addressed.
I’m looking forward to your post detailing and reflecting your trip.

haven’t commented in a while v.v
next to the llamas, the first picture is my favorite. jumping pictures never lose their charm! =)
I’m visiting Estonia (going back to half of my roots), which consists of extra good chocolate, one of the oldest medieval cities and several castles to explore, tons of beautiful scenery, clean rivers to swim in, stork nests, and unfortunately a few weeks of working at a lab.
and on a completely random note, has anyone ever said you look pretty similar to Lee Wei? (http://wiki.d-addicts.com/Image:Leewei02.jpg)

Perfect timing that you return as your acting short was released – no one has forgot about you now! But yeah Peru looks awesome, were you part of any of those hiking groups that have to stay in the forests for a few nights?? I would love to see the original 7 Wonders of the World in my life … 2 down already!

Zomg. This post is epic x98796512646546849684! My jaw seriously dropped when I saw these pictures. Plus you quoting UP is perfect because you went to South America too!
But my holiday in China was pretty epic. They played Wonder Girls while I was climbing the Great Wall! Hahaha. Plus I got to see for myself where you and Phil filmed ‘See Through’. I thought that was pretty cool.
