Ooo la la. So I’ve been talking about this particular short for how long now? Well, It’s gonna be coming out next week! Oh myyyy. Here’s a little teaser I put together to get people in the know for the upcoming release.Â
Where did the “Peace sign” come from? How did it spread around the world, and how did each culture develop their own way of showing it? Where do new poses come from? “POSER!” will introduce us to a research organization that will answer all these questions.
POSER! – The history and evolution of the “Peace Sign”
A new mockumentary from Wong Fu Productions
Written and Directed by Philip Wang
Produced with Wesley Chan and Ted Fu
Featuring music by David Choi and Jesse Chui
Where do you think the Peace Sign and picture poses come from. (no, not special picture posing storks =P)

My friend once told me that Japanese people made this sign to represent the two atomic bombs that were dropped by America and something about victory. When she told me this I was like O___________O

I wish I could see it!!
I’m sure you guys read your comments so I’m asking here: Would you mind posting your videos to somewhere else after you post it in youtube? =( I just arrived in China for college and EVERYTHING is blocked. (I think Vimeo works)
Hope you guys will consider this appeal from a very very very loyal fan! haha

Haha. So I am known to be the “poser” among my friends! Like whenever I see a camera out somewhere, you will find me in front of it looking cute. Also, I have this obsession with peace symbols. Like i have shirts, jewelery, purses, bags, etc. with peace symbols. I just feel that this short short is going to be so appropriate for me. :p CANNOT wait!!

The peace sign was invented when a guy went to do the bunny ears on his friend, but she ducked down and the photo was just him with the peace sign in the air.
OBVIOUSLY. ^^
