HELLO!!!
I really enjoy watching your videos. A lot of them are funny and sad and romantic. Its like short stories but I get to actually watch them. :] Thank you for uploading them for the world to see :] Its really amazing to see asian people online. We don’t often asian people in movies or the media with a main role. This just makes me proud to be an asian :]
- lots of love-

YOU GUYS ARE REALY COOL AND AWESOME… this is my first time ever watching your videos on youtube and in your WEBSITE http://www.wongfuproduction.com and your blog… i love wathching you guys… wish you more careers to come more successful and more production to make… ill tell my friends to watch your youtube and your website. by the way im Lloyd Anthony Casupanan from one of the ASIA’s beautiful country the PHILIPPINES… takecare always guys… god bless…
It’s 2AM here is NYC and i’m still up. i blame phil for his tweet with the xanga entry. but really, i blame myself for having such stalker tendencies.
i still have to write a term paper, but here are a few things i had to share or i’d feel like an unreciprocating creepster after being so invasive of your past.
(that sounds so creepy in and of itself)
-PHIL: i keep a journal too. dunno if you still write (with pen on paper) but i’ve been writing since sophomore year HS too. in marble notebooks so it’s easier to sneak a few lines in during class. they’ve been tattered from travelling, and i write really messily in them…so it was surprising to see pictures of a guy’s journal with neat handwriting. just wondering, have you ever let anyone (i.e.-a girl) read your journals? have they/you ever found something you wrote that you completely forgot you had written?
also: Phil 4:13
-WES: why do you speak Canto if you’re Taiwanese? or do i not know what i’m saying?
scenic places to hike and take pictures: Kenting, the southern tip of Taiwan. it’s gorgeous.
also, i wonder if you’ve ever been to that underground graffiti alleyway at UCSD?
-TED: have you ever written a blog entry or something about your past in Africa? no doubt it’s shaped you into be who you are?
car fun fact: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3u1QYYfoq9I
that’s my friend’s G. he has a friend who used to be a rocket scientist but now does stuff with cars, and there isn’t a video of his latest “upgrade” but he added an engine with technology NASA uses…and i thought you’d appreciate hearing the purr
also: i wonder if you’ve ever heard of TED? the smart people convention? their videos are on youtube, and i thought you’d also appreciate watching some of the interesting ones. even if just for the sake of watching the TED convention because it bears your name.
Hi, I love you guys. However, I have one complaint. You always talk about representing the Asian community, or it seems from every one of your videos with Asian actors/actresses. My complaint is that why can’t you work with Indian people as well; I mean we are from India, that’s in Asia. So, please work with some Indian actors, I am sure there are plenty in LA and some might even be your friends. Come on guys, bring together the whole Asia through your videos by having more than just the Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc., in your videos.
I don’t want to sound mean, I am not, but I kinda feel left out when I see Asian Americans in your videos and not one of them is from my country: India.
Thanks for your input Sameena! The last thing we want is for our fans to feel left out. This is actually something I’ve been thinking about recently too. We’re not purposely leaving Indian’s out, the fact is most of our Indian friends just don’t live near us. But I assure you that you’ll be seeing Indian faces in our future vids =) Thank you for your support!
Thanks Phil for acknowledging my comment, it meant a lot to me. And, you know I wasn’t saying that you were purposely leaving Indians out, but that I would like to see an Indian actor in few videos and go, “Wow, they just got cooler,” lol.
You guys make my day every time I watch your videos.
I’ll always know something is going to make me happy or smile just by watching your videos
seriously you guys make me remember that anything is possible because you guys created all this by your own hands.
And when I watch a video I get so inspired!
I love love LOVE you guys
Great to see you guys still up and going strong. I was on the yesasia website looking for dramas, and your advertisement went up just about when I was closing it, and I was like… “No way!!” It’s awesome to see you guys with such success.
Hey Wong Fu! I’m a HUGE fan of you guys and I was wondering if you could take a
moment to help save a life. Natalie Nakatani is an 8 year old girl
suffering with leukemia and she needs to find a bone marrow match to save
her life. Because she is Asian, more Asian donors are needed. Please
help spread the word to your subscribers. No one deserves to die at such a young age.
I’m in grad school in London and stumbled across your website. I’m meant to read for the last 3 hours, but have been watching your videos! Thanks for all the laughs. It’s great to have a humorous reminder from home. Hope y’all make it across the Atlantic sometime
I’ve been a fan since the first nice guy video, I always thought you guys were very innovative, creative and all around cool people. I finally ordered a couple of nice guy t-shirts and can’t wait to receive them and wear them with pride.
Keep up the good work and the good fight for niceness, the world needs it more than you know!
I very much like what you three guys stand for. There are so many players out there that I’m losing hope in men. But you three bring back chivalry in a gentlemen-like manner, especially you Philip. It would be a pleasure to run into you guys one day in LA. If I run into you guys, I’ll be sure to say Hi. Keep up the good work.
It’s unbelievable how many similar asian-amercian/canadians are like us. As a viewer who falls in the same age group and brought up the same way in terms of family culture and values, it fascinates me how this tradition is scene throughout North America. Unfortunately though, I don’t know of many people that are able to showcase your talent that you depict in your films. The ideas of bringing in real world situation and making them into an enjoyable, entertaining and funny film truly makes us chinese-american/canadian proud! I’ve spent countless hours watching your videos and I can’t say enough how much I think these videos have come a long making them look as professional as a store bought DVD. I hope you guys continue with your great success!
Nice job guys…also I have a question…What did your parents say when you guys where thinking about making wong fu productions as a profession? You guys inspire us to go out there and make videos…I’m really interested in filmmaking and its really nice to see your work. Once again keep up the good work!!!1
I was surfing the web, something I rarely do; and came across your short film Yellow Fever.. Congrats great and funny work. Maybe we can collaborate and do something fun together. I am the CEO of Lovingly Stoned Productions. If you google “Liam Stone” you should get some public stuff on us.
I’m in LA for sure throughout Feb. Maybe we can meet up.
Hey guys I have been waiting for years for you guys to make a shirt with the caricatures from the keychain on it. (I’ve sent several other email requests.) Would you guys do a poll to gauge interest? I’m sure the other fans would love it too!!!
Hellooo~ I came across your website today I loved to see how much more videos you guys have made and congratulate you guys on your successes in spreading your great videos across the world I watched Yellow Fever back in 2007 and it got me hooked~ super awesome bunch of people/entertainers who are keen on spreading the love of good filmography to the world as a fellow Asian..Asian power FTW!! yay Good Luck with all your future plans and I can’t wait for more awesome videos~
Oh… and have a very happy Chinese New Year with all your loved ones $$$$
I am new to you guys. I came across one of your videos this weekend and I loved it! I have been watching your other videos and have loved every one of them. You guys make videos about situations that everyone can relate to and things we have never thought about. I think that if someone were in a bad mood, they can watch one of your videos and instantly be happy. I was stressed about about writing my paper because I couldn’t find the articles I needed. I watched your video and my irratation over my paper was gone. Thank you so much! I am not Asian, so I kind of feel like I don’t have the right to watch or comment on your videos, but I want you to know that your videos help everyone and I enjoy them very much.
Hi,
Just wanted to drop by and tell you guys how much you mean to the young Asian-American community. Your videos and work are our voice, our thoughts, our hearts. Keep up the inspiring work, I look forward to what the future may bring.
For a girl as shy as me, it is hard to openly rave to some heroes on how much of an influence they could be. Let me break out of that shell and say, Wow. You guys are the best.
I wish I can say more, it really is never enough. (But is this cheese enough yet? Uhm, I hope not.) Thanks for always making my days brighter and happier. Never failed to bring a smile on my face, Wong Fu. I mean, seriously. Your shorts are nothing short of creative and entertaining.
I’m an aspiring film-maker, so I hope to learn more from everyone who influences me. Wish I can meet you guys one day, since I need all the help I could get. Hope you have a wonderful and sincerely happy day (or…night. Afternoon?).
Yours truly, Isa. Take care!
P.S. I bet you five bucks that I will feel even more shy after submitting this comment. Click.
I love all that you do!! and you guys are INSPIRING me to establish an independent company with a group of friends later in my life…probably in the fields of graphic design and film!
You guys are the best. Your shorts and videos always put a smile on my face. They range from a spectrum of themes, from the meaningful and wise to the silly and lighthearted. Either way, your videos have helped me grow as a person, and as you’ve progressed from a trio of college students to professional independent filmmakers, it feels as if we’ve grown up together in these past few years. Your videos make up a part of my memories; as life goes on, through tears and laughter, I can always look back and see you there with me. I like how you keep things personal with us, too, with your blogs and vlogs. It helps keep your fan base strong and supportive. Please continue to do what you do, making our days brighter, and know that you really affect our lives a lot. We really appreciate your hard work, so keep on fighting! Add oil to the fire! >:D Stay strong and do your best!
I love all your videos and short films (: they’re so awesome. xD Weeelll, I hope you guys keep up the good work!~ and GL with shooting your video-film thingy with nigahiga & kevjumba! x]

I wish you guys the best of luck in the future.

Just want to say that you guys are doing a great job!
You guys indeed serve true to your saying of, “If at the end of the day there’s someone out there who has a better day because of us, then we’ve succeeded.”
I first found out about you guys back in 07/08 through randomly watching videos on youtube , and then I found YELLOW FEVER. still always checking in everyday for new vids and stuff, hope you guys keep making those mini chinese dramas haha. and come do one of them secret agent things in toronto some day! PEACE!
I love your short videos – just watched “Just a Nice Guy” and I absolutely love it! Got a bit teary eyed too I suppose I can relate too in more ways than one.

You guys indeed serve true to your saying of, “If at the end of the day there’s someone out there who has a better day because of us, then we’ve succeeded.”
Keep it up!
Love from Malaysia! (:
