hey guys, my names anthony neely. i graduated UCSD 08 and while i was there, i got hooked to ur videos. starting with that wedding gift “im yours”. it was really charming.
anyway. to the point. since graduating, ive moved to taiwan to sell out and be a pop-singer. =D and so far got pretty damn lucky. anyway. i have an album coming out in october and it needs music videos..and wanted to ask if takin these kind of projects was something you guys would consider. and if so, how to contact you guys about it.
and then here’s a link to my record companys website http://www.him.com.tw/
sorry its in chinese. im not sure how much help that will be…
but anyway. if ur interested at all in workin on something together. heres my email johnnychan898@yahoo.com
if we dont get to work together for whatever reason, just want to say, u guys do great art.
so this is my first visit to the wongfu website, and i happened to glance through the guestbook and see your comments… i looked at your youtube video, and man. it was awesome
Anyways, just hope you do well in taiwan, or anywhere else you plan to go. Good luck in achieving your dreams!
(Blower’s daughter was really good…… )
The meaning of these lyrics is really beautiful beyond words, but the mv couldn’t exactly bring out their beauty.
hehe
(oops, Wong Fu doesn’t know chinese very well, plus they’re so busy >.<)
I want to give you guys my support and blessings to Wong Fu Productions. Your videos, short clips, films are amazing and who wouldn’t like them? Watching your videos have showed a tiny a little bit about yourselves which I find a little surprising. Like Phil is quite good playing the piano. Wes is an animal lover. Ted is naturally and modestly funny. Haha, yes, you can say I’m a fan of WFP (A rather observant one too). So keep up your good work and I’ll be supporting you guys all the way! I also noticed that Wes is always wearing a necklace. Is there a meaning behind it? Ted also wears a ring on his right hand. And well, Phil. He’s not really an accessory holder, I think.
I know that your tour is quite limited. So instead, I might bring some of my friends which are your fans as well and go to LA ourselves! Save the trouble from your busy schedule and who knows, if fate allows, we’ll meet? And yes, save yourselves the jet lags too. I’m a whole way from Malaysia. Greetings from Malaysia, then.
Man, when I first met you guys at the shoot, I was like “who the heck are these tall asian guys?”
But I’m glad I got to do what we did, cause seeing you all work how you did got me thinking. And when I got home after the first day and looked you up on youtube, what I found inspired me. See I was led to believe that to be on youtube you had to have the most ridiculously stupid idea for a video, and the more goofy you can make it without being too goofy the better. When I saw the funemployed series, I learned that you dont have to be outrageously funny with perfect skin or hair or whatever crap, you just need to have the imagination to create and the determination to let nothing get in the way of your plans. It wasnt because it was hilarious that funemployed did so well, it was because it was made with passion, and because of that people were able to relate to it and enjoy something that made the best of ordinary life.
That told me that all it takes to make a good video, is a little bit of love, lol. But seriously, you guys inspired me to no end, and thanks to you all, I’ve rounded up some friends to begin making our first production as soon as my dad gets back with his camera. We don’t have any fancy equipment or nothin, but hey, who needs it right? Its the content that matters. So I thank you for being at Galt when you were, for making what you did, for my inspiration, and for reading this. And even though Ryan, Anthony and Ian are hilarious and awesome, and wider known than you are, your videos introduced a new possibility to me, and for that I owe you.
wow… I JUST figured out that that tech. ruins romance guy from the letters was duke… i feel slow XP
ANYWAYS~
i’m just writing this because I feel really happy for you guys! Wes, Ted, Phil— your subscribers #’s just keeps going up, you guys are so busy and work so hard, and the best thing is that you guys love what you’re doing! You guys are awesome.
I kinda miss the way things were a long time ago, when it was just the 3 of you, making films & videos, but I’m really glad you guys have made it so far and am extremley happy for you guys. I’ll always be a wongfu supporter, no matter what. I love you guys!!!!
I just started watching WFP videos the other day, and I just can’t stop! You guys are amazing and ALL your videos are fun to watch. Keepsafe always and hope you guys will be more successful.
Oh. Wait. If you guys have enough time, please visit Philippines and have a fan meeting here. I know a lot of people who liked you guys too, i mean the videos. hehe =)
Hi!
I am hooked on your videos… I watched every episode of Wong Fu Weekends, and I love you guys so much! Not only are you guys so talented in making videos, you are all also oh so very fun to watch. I love that all three of you are different; how Phil is always the one talking, hyper and out there, haha, Wes, the quiet, sweet, but really funny guy, and Ted, haha the one who doesn’t speak much, but whatever he says is always amazingly funny. I enjoyed funemployed very much, and i hope you guys will succeed even more in the future, and i will be looking forward to everything!
Hi im esther
im a young asian girl who lives in hawaii
i want to send you a postcard o something else bu i cant decide what to get you.
I was wondering if you liked to play sports????
I first visited the Wong Fu Productions Youtube channel after seeing Phil in Kevjumba’s “Inappropriate Lyrics” video, which led me to watch Wongfu’s brushing teeth with Jack video. I enjoyed “Funemployed” and the associated directors commentaries so much, I started exploring this website in between epsiode releases, and there are so many awesome videos. At first, I didn’t watch the Tour videos, but they turned out to be cool travelogues with lots of jokes. You guys have great comedic timing especially when you interact with each other. I always watch the behind the scenes extras when I see movies, and your behind the scenes are often very fascinating as well (eg. how you shot and did effects for the “That Girl” video). It helps you throw in jokes too. So thanks for putting out so many videos this summer! It looks like a ton of work.
i found it funny to hear people say that you guys represent ‘asian’ americans. i think you guys are more americans than asian, if at all. don’t get me wrong, i do like your work. but just feel that you guys, and all your guests, are what they called ‘bananas’ – yellow on the outside and white on the inside. i will be thrilled to see videos with someone who speaks korean, japanese, mandarin, cantonese, etc.
One of the videos they did, was when a girl was sad and she was explaining her story in her head. Her boyfriend was “mean”. It’s really good you should check it out.
Watch the “One Days” series by Wesley, set in HK it’s pretty much entirely in Cantonese/Chinese (with English subs). Good stuff. Also, Asian-Americans ARE typically bananas, so there’s no much discrepancy there.
you guyz are awesome, great, wonderful, funny, hilarious, humorous, spectacular, and awesome again awesome(x100)
love you guys so much!!!!!!!! you guyz need to upload videos for the rest of your lives………..or else i wont be able to live! (overreacting teehee)
I’m so sad… you know why? Because I can’t watch the new episode of FunEmployed T_T.. At the moment having my holiday in China. Unfortunately China blocks Youtube, Dailymotion and more Facebook stuff websites.. Have you ever thought about sharing your videos on Chinese video websites? Like youku.com or tudou.com. That way ppl in China can also enjoy your awesome videos
Anyways.. thanks for making all those addicting videos! ^^
You guys are so inspiring !
Keep up the freakin’ awesome work (: .
And Ted & Wes need to talk more in the directors commentary’s of FunEmployed … so quiet x)
I just want to say I love you guys and all the vids!;) You make me proud of being an asian and asians always rock! Keep the good works up and wish you all the best!
Just wanted to say that u guys rock, and hope you guys get the chance to read this you guys are my idols, just hope you can visit Canada again, I missed you last time, because, sadly :’( I didn’t know you guys before.
You videos are amazing, funny, emotional, smart, and all those other wonderful things; its like i know you guys already – like roommates! Everyday I watch 1 video, I can sleep with a smile on my face, regretless at night.
I’m so happy for you, I’m trying the best I can to spread your work. Wongfu Disciple on a mission. xD Hope you guys the best.
Shoutout from Singapore! Will you guys ever come down to Asia sometime? Like say Singapore? Really love the videos! It’d be awesome if we could be penpals somehow but I guess that’s a little too far fetched yeaap?
Anyway, keep the videos rolling it! You guys are great together!
I just recently discovered your youtube videos and I have been addicted to them since then. I just wanted to telling you guys that ya’ll are EXTREMELY talented and I can see GREAT things happening to you in the coming future…=)
HEY GUYS
You all are superawesome. I saw the Yellow Fever video a few years ago and though it was just another random video, never realizing there was a whole, INCREDIBLE production team behind it. I love your collaborations with other youtubers, and how you’ve just been living out your dreams–I used to want to be a film director but I chickened out because it seemed too far beyond my reach. But you guys kept striving and now there are so many of us who look up to you.
Keep it upppp. And come visit UMich in Ann Arbor some time!
Hey! You guys are pretty darn amazing!
Your videos are super impressive and I hope to see you working with bigger people and bigger screens!
If you guys are ever in Arizona (probably best to come during the winter, otherwise you might die), please let me know! I’d be HONORED if I was put in a Wong Fu video! That is, if you’re in need of a high schooler.
Don’t give up on making videos (not that I think you would). A ton of people would be sad if that ever happened!
Asian Pride! Guys like you make me love being Asian! <3
Hi guys, i just wanna say that u r so awesome I love u guys
U know, Im from Serbia. U know that small country in Europe
When u have free time come here to relax, its beautiful country
My house is empty
Respect for all your works. U r so creative, and something that i most like is that u are Asians. The best race. Im white.. (
Born by wrong parents……..
I would help to your work, but its too far, sorry.
I wish u all best, God bless u guys. And come to Serbia one day
Just dropping by to say hi,, & wanna add that you guys n0w have another crazy fan all the way from Indonesia! XD
I saw your videos, & I can tell you guys that your videos really make my day.
Every time I am feeling down OTL, what in my mind at the first place is your videos~
You are my inspiration!
I am one of your very new fan, & I was wondering whether you guys will ever have any tour to Singapore (currently studying there). I am sure you guys have a lot of fans over here too!
Wishing you guys great year ahead & all the best in everything you do~ ^_^
Stay cool!
i can remember that i stumbled upon “yellow fever” when i was roaming on youtube the first couple times, i’m glad i did and i’m gonna be going to ucsd, but not because of you guys of course–but your videos somewhat inspire me to pursue a career that i’ll enjoy doing, even out of the asian stereotype–i’m not gonna be da doctor or da lawyer or even the pharmacist, but something that the world can appreciate i hope =] thank you for doing what you do philly, wesley, and teddy hahaha <3
Just spent the last hour surfing through the website. I must say, you guys are awesome. I am your newest fan. I admire your work promoting asian-american in a ‘nice guy’ sort of light. Haven’t seen all of your videos yet, just started watching funemployed. It’d be cool if you guys could put a classic touch in your future works like “Chan is missing”. Keep up the good work!
You guys are hilarious! Wesleys directing is genius, I loved Give and Take( Spencer<3) and Ted is so funny and Phillip is always the happy one. Keep making more vids! Funenployed is great!
Today’s my last day of junior year, spending my schooltime on the awsum WONGFUs.
I’m pretty sad that I’ll be leaving this year, but still feel awesome to express this compassion.
HAVE A NICE SUMMER EVERYONE!
Hello to you guys all the way from Beijing, China!
This may sound kind of creepy, but I think Wongfuproductions has taught me a lot about misconceptions I/ other people may have about Asian-Americans in general (and surprisingly, I’m actually asian-american). Plus, you guys are super funny (I love your indian friend in Yellow Fever).
[And Wesley Chan is hot .]
Thanks for giving me entertainment, joy and “life-lessons” for the past few months!
Stay funny, talented and hot forever!
You guys should do a Q&A vblogs again. I’m sure the fans have a lot of questions they want to ask. Each of you guys could do individual vblogs so we could get to know each one of you better
Just want to let you know that I really really enjoy your work and that your videos really brighten up my day! i look forward to more Wong Fu Productions!
Three creative and talented guys doing what they love from day to day (and doing it so well!) …its inspiring..Thank you!
Also, yay for shipping internationally..i’ve got my eyes on some of those Tshirts at the moment! hehehe
Much love and support,
Aimi Diyana Saifon
Brunei Darussalam, South East Asia =)
Im a Communication Arts Student here in the Philippines, and I am really fascinated about the videos that you post in your youtube channel and in your website. May i just ask What Video device did you use in David Chois music video “That girl”?, as well as the software/s that you used for editing the video. it would be a pleasure if i get an answer. THANK YOU in ADVANCE! ^_^
this is a comment and suggestion about your awkward animal plushes!
It’s really cool and i love them all!! , esp the awkward turtle
Just a suggestion, i thought maybe you guys should produce an “awkward monkey” plush as well to add to your collection ^_^ i’d totally purchase that!
I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate all of your hard work throughout all of these years. I have been following your work since the very beginning in 2004
Your videos always bring a smile to my face and keep up the awesome work.
Hi Wong Fu Productions, so I mailed you a folder with 3 papers with my designs on it, i mailed it a week ago, i’m not sure if you recieved it you, but anyway, can you email me back as soon as possible by my email? thanks <3

Hello
Have a greeeaaaat daaaay!

i can remember that i stumbled upon “yellow fever” when i was roaming on youtube the first couple times, i’m glad i did and i’m gonna be going to ucsd, but not because of you guys of course–but your videos somewhat inspire me to pursue a career that i’ll enjoy doing, even out of the asian stereotype–i’m not gonna be da doctor or da lawyer or even the pharmacist, but something that the world can appreciate i hope =] thank you for doing what you do philly, wesley, and teddy hahaha <3

LOVING your works!

Hello to you guys all the way from Beijing, China!
.]
This may sound kind of creepy, but I think Wongfuproductions has taught me a lot about misconceptions I/ other people may have about Asian-Americans in general (and surprisingly, I’m actually asian-american). Plus, you guys are super funny (I love your indian friend in Yellow Fever).
[And Wesley Chan is hot
Thanks for giving me entertainment, joy and “life-lessons” for the past few months!
Stay funny, talented and hot forever!

You guys should do a Q&A vblogs again. I’m sure the fans have a lot of questions they want to ask. Each of you guys could do individual vblogs so we could get to know each one of you better
