It’s been another few days on tour. Sorry for not updating as often as things happen, but when we’re on the road, it’s so busy and hard to keep up. Thanks for your patience. We left off as we headed to Buffalo, NY. This is where we go…international!!!
Our event at SUNY Buffalo was last Tuesday, and a really special one. Not only was it a packed crowd of around 300, but for the first time, we broadcasted the entire show live on blogTV. I think we had around another 400 people watching from there, for the whole 2.5 hours. Phil Chao and Vobot from BlogTV drove down from Toronto.

Two super awesome people from the interweb who support WF and wanted to share what we do on tour with all those who can’t come out. They plugged in their camera and computers and the entire night the chatrooms were going crazy as ppl watched from around the world! Even better, a few of the clips were recorded, so you can see what happened that night if you missed it! Go to our blogtv channel and check it out! While you’re there, check out Phil’s and Vochelle’s channels and subscribe to them, they’re super fun ppls.
Btw, Ted, you were totally there. See!
The next day was a day off, and we followed through with our plans to visit Niagara Falls which was only 20 min away. For those who don’t know, the falls are right on the border between Canada and the US, so we actually went to the Canadian side (yup we brought our passports) and hung out. (That’s us in the Maid of the Mist ponchos and one of the falls behind us. Maid of the Mist are these boats that take you up to the bottom of the falls and you get super wet. It’s also the boats that Jim and Pam got married on.) We even had a super last minute fan meet-up with whoever was on the Canadian side and was willing to meet us there. To our surprise, people actually made time in their day to drive out to see us, about 10, haha. It was pretty fun actually. We had the meeting place at an arcade, and since the group wasn’t too big, we ended up just playing games and eating dinner with them. They must’ve been surprised. They all thought there was gonna be a huge crowd and line to meet us, but they ended up playing DDR and air hockey with us for hours. It was cute, one girl used the tickets she won from the games and gave us a prize she “bought”. I wish we had a group picture with all of them.
The next day we headed off to Washington DC, which will be another blog. But for now, big thanks to KDPhi, AASU and FASA at UB. Tina you are awesome for heading this whole thing. Phil and Vo, it was great to finally meet you.
Tomorrow we’re headed to Philadelphia for a big event at UPenn (first time going there). I feel like we’ve been on tour for a long time now, can’t believe we’re only about quarter through (4 out of 11 stops). <=P A lot of traveling ahead.
Here’s a few more photos from the event. Thanks to Jeffrey Liu for the pics.
line for the meet&greet. Goes around the corner. This was the first event we ever did that held the meet&greet FIRST and then had the show after.
Checkin out a poster that someone made for us. A lot of our fans/supporters are quite artistic!

A big ‘thank you’ to Phil and Wes for taking the time to make it out to Buffalo, NY. And thanks to Ted for tuning in from Cali on the BlogTV broadcast! It’s been a goal of mine to meet you guys for over 5 years now, and not only did I get to do that, but I also got a chance to work with you as well!
Broadcasting the meet was a pleasure, as I knew there were many fans on the interweb who would love to see what you guys do on these tours and behind the scenes! It was truly an honour and I hope that you had a memorable time in Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
Special thanks to Tina Chang, KDPhi, AASU, FASA, and EVERYONE at SUNY Buffalo for their hospitality and support while we were there. We miss you all very much.
