Here’s an oldie but a goodie. I remember back in the day when I was using DOS and Windows 3.1, and when windows 95 came out it was a BIG deal! These days Wong Fu Productions is outfitted with mostly Macs but I still have a few machines/laptops/Virtual desktops running various versions of windows, some things you just can’t do with a mac. I never got into vista though I have 3 machines that run it, I’ll be giving windows 7 a try for sure, if not on my machine then at one of those new fancy Windows Cafes. No this post wasn’t sponsored my Microsoft but by the geek in me.

I should switch to Mac soon as well… Vista is not worth the trouble. I heard 7 is like a completed version of Vista.

hey WFP.
if u missed the review that engadget gave on 7 heres your chance. I’ve tried it myself, it runs pretty stable and it not only supported my graphics card but it enhanced it with directX 11.

Hmmm, can’t seem to log in to post on this new version of the blog. Maybe I can’t see the button, lol.
There’s lots of programs that you just can’t get on Mac (especially when it comes to games), so it’s always good having a Windows computer spare. Windows 7 looks much, MUCH better than Vista.

Ahhh… good old DOS. Remember QEMM? Stacker? DoubleSpace?
I’ve been running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 for a while now and it seems to be fairly stable. Then again, it is running on an i7 920 so it might be a bit unfair. Haven’t tried to install it on an Atom yet though.
Long live the command line
