First a game. Can you find the Ted Fu? (Answer after the jump)
Luckily Wes and I did.
As some of you may have heard, Ted had to miss the first 4 events of the tour due to some “aww” worthy pet related issues. But after 2 weeks, he was finally able to join us, in Philadelphia!
Oct 28th was our event at UPenn and it was a lot of fun. It was our first time to Philly, but unfortunately, we only had about 35 hours there. Though we didn’t get to see a lot of the sites that we wanted to due to some really bad weather, the most important part of our visit was the event, and that’s all that really matters. YOU! About 200 of you showed up to show your support and listen to us share our stories and work. Thank you so much for sharing your evening with us. I definitely hope that Wong Fu can return to Philadelphia in the future, and maybe then we’ll be able to also see the monuments and such.
But, even though we were support short on time, I just wouldn’t allow myself to leave Philly without trying a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Authentic, from the city itself. So after our show and dinner with the organizers, we made a special trip at midnight to a famous cheesesteak place called Pats. The funny thing is, apparently there’s a super famous and heated rivalry between Pats, and another cheesesteak stand across the street called Gino’s. Everyone in the city knows about it, and it’s pretty much a tourist destination, so we had to check it out. We were gonna try both and compare, but everyone told us that Pats was better, and that Gino’s was racist, lol, so the obvious choice was Pats.
yay, phil eating philly cheesestake in philly. It was very fulphilling. har har har.
Well our tour continues (we’re currently in our hotel in Harrisonburg, Virginia). Just finished our event at James Madison University (JMU) and met some super awesome peoples. Lagging a bit on staying up to date blogging about each event, so thanks for your patience.
Special treat though if I can back track a couple weeks and a few events earlier. Phil Chao was awesome and made a “Wong Fu on Tour” video himself of when he visited us in Buffalo and we went to Niagara Falls. check this out! Wong Fu at Niagara!!
Good times.
Oh and here’s the answer:
That’s ted, in our Philly hotel lobby using the internet. Free internet is gold while we’re traveling. yessssssss.

You guys definitely need to come back to Philly. Hopefully the stay can be longer and in better weather. September is awesome here! I’m going to have to work on getting Temple U to extend an invite.
