The latest Twilight saga continues in a few days (Nov. 20th) we haven’t had the chance to watch the first movie so we’re wondering how many of you guys are fans of Twilight. I have the movie on my NetFlix queue it should be here any day now. Tell us what you think!

love the books
hate the movies.
cast is TERRIBLE.
my friends & i seriously think we can film a better twilight movie than these directors…
December 1, 2009 at 3:11 am
i think the book is mad…..the movie was great but robert pattinson made the movie made his just sexy;) and taylor launter but robert pattinson is way better
November 25, 2009 at 2:43 pm
The hype over everything is ridiculous! I loved the books, but seriously, some people need to calm down haha. The first movie was reallllyyyyyyy bad in my opinion. Kristen Stewart can’t act for beans and it just didn’t roll over well with me. I’m looking forward to watching the second movie though, it actually looks really good. Hopefully there won’t be any fangirls screaming in my ear (yn)
December 7, 2009 at 9:35 pm
Oh, there will be girls screaming.
I didn’t watch it yet, but my friends told me that,
when Taylor Lautner ripped off his shirt, a girl was like, “Yes .. Finally.”
Yeah , that’s kind of creepy.
Another friend said that when it happened, this one girl scream, and wouldn’t stop for like, the rest of the movie.
November 21, 2009 at 11:54 am
Robert Pattinson? Taylor Lautner all the wayy!
November 19, 2009 at 8:31 pm
To me, its just a film with too many fake effects and people with harnesses springing themselves into high air. But, yeah its alright i guess.
November 18, 2009 at 5:53 pm
i wish Blade was in twilight…
November 23, 2009 at 4:48 am
gotta say, that would be pretty epic
November 18, 2009 at 5:20 pm
Honestly, the Twilight movie wasn’t very good, but I did love the books. Because I am a fan of the books, I will be going to see New Moon, as well, but this movie also looks like it’s going to be a lot better than the first one. =] Hopefully..
November 18, 2009 at 10:43 am
oops.. i mean “a terrible Edward Cullen” not Robert Pattinson.
November 18, 2009 at 10:42 am
I admit i like the books, but I have no interests in the movies at all, especially if Robert Pattinson is Edward Cullen. He makes a terrible Robert Pattinson.. no offense to any Robert fans.
December 8, 2009 at 4:53 am
i agree with you…. XD
November 18, 2009 at 7:39 am
Hah.. no offence, but twilight has got to be one of the worst movies.. ever. (okay.. so dramatic but yeah ahah)
the acting is so awkward and its just so hard to watch.. although.. it did get a tiny bit better, from a baseball scene until she ends up in hospital.. after and before is a bit .. ‘meh’.
Although the books we’re okay.
November 17, 2009 at 6:08 pm
All the books were awesome, mos deff seeing the movie the day it comes out!
New Moon was my favorite book out of all the books, so pretty much excited.
Breaking Dawn was loooooooong, but enjoyable, especially the end! xD
November 17, 2009 at 5:33 pm
Um… none of the above? I liked the first book but didn’t think too much of the following 3.
I do, however, think it’s adorable that Taylor Lautner is dating Taylor Swift.
November 17, 2009 at 2:06 pm
I love the books and the movie but for the 1st movie was it was indie-movie style due to the director catherine New Moon has more money and a different director who did american pie and 1 award winning movie and it has dakota fanning so the style of the movie will chg and of course they gotta much more money frm the 1st one!! And yes the book was a bit poorly written but its. A good plot
November 17, 2009 at 1:30 pm
i think it should be OMG OMG YESS! I LOVE Edward Cullen!@$!!%! instead of Robert Pattinson lol
November 17, 2009 at 12:54 pm
No. Simple as that.
November 17, 2009 at 3:37 am
Not a fan of the movie, not a fan of the books. If I want a love story, I’ll watch A Moment With You thanks. =P
Only vampire related thing I’m a fan of is Buffy and Angel. Maybe I’m just old, but those were the good old days.
November 17, 2009 at 2:45 am
I love the books especially the 4th book. I’m surprise Twilight fans who posted here didn’t like it. My friends all like the 4th book the most. I LOVE reading books about vampire. I am obsess with them and this was one of my favorite series. Too me it was really a good series but I can see here that alot of ppl didn’t like the series that much. All vampire books are pretty much the same in storyline. I don’t have a problem with that. That doesn’t make it a boring book. I am only a fan of the book. I hate the first movie. I was so disappointed. If they make the movie longer and cover more things then I might have liked it. I don’t like any of the ppl’s they choose for the cast. I didn’t bother seeing the trailer for the 2nd movie and don’t really care.
November 17, 2009 at 12:43 am
Finally people who agree with me. I used to be a fan of Twilight but after all this hype, i HATE it. The author is being sued for plagiarism too. This is a typical storyline. Honestly, if they think this is good… they should watch asian dramas or read mangas. So much better. Robert Pattinson isn’t even cute! It’s just the CHARACTER he plays! I mean sheesh, even the guy that plays Edward’s dad is cuter than Robert.
November 16, 2009 at 11:53 pm
Ugh, Twilight is overrated and annoying. I think it was mainly the squealing fangirling that pissed me off about it though. And the whole “OMFG HOW CAN YOU NOT HAVE READ TWILIGHT” when people find out I am not remotely interested in the words “teenage vampire love story.”
November 16, 2009 at 11:41 pm
Well you see , my and 2 of my sisters were going to watch it at bella terra for my cousin’s b-day..i saw the beginning..it was bleh..i didnt like it. 1) we were like in the front. 2) i hate the front 3) girls were screaming (yes i am a girl) 4) i had to leave in the beginning of the movie for some family stuff 5)etc..!
November 16, 2009 at 11:23 pm
people are way too hype about it. it’s annoying. the book, itself, was pretty decent, but it wasn’t amazing. i was able to put it down. the movie was close to horrible. if it weren’t for the fact that kristen stewart were a great actress, i probably wouldn’t want to watch the second one.
November 16, 2009 at 11:18 pm
I never liked Twilight, what kind of vampire sparkles in the SUN?! Also how can the dead do the naughty? XD And yes I really do mean what you’re thinking lol!
The best thing is I got asked if I was interested in Twilight by a person from Hot Topic passing out fliers for the Cast of New Moon coming to their store, I told them no and they looked at me like I grew another head, it was awesome!
November 16, 2009 at 11:15 pm
I don’t think it deserves enough credit. The books are decent and I really like the whole idea of it. I didn’t think the first movie was that good but I have high hopes for New Moon. I still love the cast though.
November 16, 2009 at 11:14 pm
don’t even bother to watch the movie. it’s a complete waste of time. I love teeny-bopper movies, and I don’t have high expectations for movies at all. It’s the worst movie that I’ve ever seen! I would even say that Hannah Montana the Movie was 100X better than Twilight.
the books are somewhat worth reading. my friend is so hyped about the saga. I got a gift card, so I thought that I’d get them. It took me an entire summer to read through the first book, because I was only reading the book during my lunch breaks at work. The other three books are still unopened. I never got hooked like some people, but the books are not bad. I mean I didn’t fall asleep while reading them, unlike the English novels that I have to read for school. I do intend to read the other 3 when I get the chance.
November 16, 2009 at 11:13 pm
Loved the books…didn’t reali like the movie but the previews for New Moon looks awesome and since it’s a different director I think it will be better. Yes, people can get reali obsessed about it but it’s just like Star Wars or Harry Potter, people love what they love and show it in wild ways. Steph may not be an award-winning writer, but she never claimed to be, the story/plot was still great. I think the leading men, Rpatz & Taylor are pretty hot too, just FYI =)
November 16, 2009 at 11:07 pm
I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s not worth your money. The story is too cliche, there’s no character development, the author writes like a 2nd grader, and I hate the fact that Stephenie Meyer portrays the fact that it’s okay to have a possessive, stalking and abusive boyfriend. And the fact that her vampires sparkle? That should be a red light there, hahah. Even Stephen King says, “Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn.”
November 16, 2009 at 10:50 pm
never read the books, but from what i heard of them, the plot was really good, but the author wasn’t the greatest writer. the first movie…. wasn’t too great. it could’ve been good if the acting, and the script, and the directing, and the editing were better. it had a lot of faults. the movie had its moments, but it ultimately wasnt worth the 6 dollars i paid to see it. i think that parts of it had a nice, dark, low budget-film-about-high-school-kids feel, but that feeling was kinda ruined by all the vampire stuff (which, yes, i realize, is the point of the books/movies. but still.)
November 16, 2009 at 10:47 pm
I literally gushed through the entire movie.. But on hindsight it wasn’t that great, I was probably just really taken with RPatz and the whole “damsel in distress” deal haha!
November 16, 2009 at 10:39 pm
I don’t think that it’s fair that everyone is so sick of Twilight just because there are some crazy people out there who is obsessed. Props to Stephanie Meyer for the awesome books. You gotta admit: they’re pretty damn good.
November 16, 2009 at 10:30 pm
i thought that the books were pretty good (except for the last one). the movie was just really disappointing. kristen stewart can’t act to save her life. the only reason i would watch the second movie is because of taylor lautner. lol.
November 16, 2009 at 10:24 pm
i’ve seen the first movie, read the books, probably won’t watch the movie. haha
November 16, 2009 at 10:16 pm
This poll is very limiting, another option should go as follows:
I LOVE Robert Pattinson!@$!!%! But.. the movie was pretty much… yah, absolutely terrible.
November 16, 2009 at 10:06 pm
Not a fan of Twilight. Watched for Taylor Lautner.
You should ask Robert Pattinson for his opinion.
November 22, 2009 at 11:30 pm
mmm taylor <3
November 16, 2009 at 10:04 pm
Twilight is alright. I prefer Harry Potter.:)
November 17, 2009 at 2:04 am
Yea-man!
November 16, 2009 at 10:01 pm
not gonna lie, but i loved the whole series (although the 4th book was WEIRD). the hype died down for a bit after the first movie, but with all the press that Taylor Lautner and cast is getting, you can’t help but get excited for the 2nd movie!!
Phil, are you jealous that Taylor Lautner is going out w/ ur girl Taylor Swift? haha
November 16, 2009 at 9:55 pm
Quite honestly, Twilight the movie sucked compared to Twilight the book. .. However, the previews for New Moon look really good and accurate to the book! I’d say Twilight was pretty decent and many of my friends that didn’t read the books enjoyed the movie.
November 16, 2009 at 9:44 pm
I love twilight but I hate that everyone gets so worked up over it! ITS A BOOK PEOPLE!! seriosuly.
November 16, 2009 at 9:43 pm
well, I don’t think Robert is cute and I dont have a crush on Taylor. But I enjoyed the first movie so I’m gonna see the second one hahaha.
November 16, 2009 at 9:42 pm
I work at a bookstore and my coworkers forced me to read the whole series. Honestly, I think the idea is good, but the author is sorely in need of a writing class. I’ve actually read better written fanfic’s written by 13 year olds. The movie is all the highlights from the book and that’s it. If new moon is anything like twilight, then it’s gonna be a crappy movie.
November 22, 2009 at 11:30 pm
agreed about the terrible writing!
but i watched it for taylor (=
it was better than i thought it would be, but the ending was TERRIBLE!
November 16, 2009 at 9:37 pm
No more Twilight, PLEASEEEE!!
