Every so often I’ll check up on Lego.com to see what new stuff they’ve released. This is only because the Lego aisle at my local Target is never up to date nor extensive enough. To my surprise I found that Lego has teamed up with Toy Story for their latest in licensed themes. Although I still love it the most when Lego has completely original designs and themes (like Castle, Space, Ninja), I must admit that cross branding and licensing (starting with Star Wars in 1999) was one of the smartest business moves they made. From Harry Potter, Spongebob, and Indiana Jones themes… these new Toy Story ones are pretty dang cool. Legos… AND Toy Story?! It’s like seeing two of my favorite musicians do a duet together, or my favorite YouTubers working on a project together, har har. (so many secrets)

My favorites models are the RC car above, and the army men below. That’s pretty tight huh? A toy, of a toy… of a toy. My mind is blown.
More models are set to be released in Summer, just in time for their release of Toy Story 3. All this talk of Lego…dang, I really needa set aside a night to just…play w/ Legos.

I loved toy story 1 and 2, so I cant wait to watch toy story 3. It shouldn’t dissapoint

I don’t know if you guys saw it but they official put up the commercial for the Toy Story Lego’s. When I saw it I totally thought of wong fu. Phil specifically cause he informed me about the legos XD

AHAHA! Freakin awesome. Never knew about that. Liked playmobile more when I was young, just don’t know why. But Toy Story is my favirote above all mannn. Lego Buzz – and beyond!

I remember play with lego’s all the time growing up. I haven’t played with them in a long time. My favorite were the ones with the trap doors, and the weapons that actually shot out. XD But you can never forget the classics. But the Toy Story Lego’s that’s just blowing my mind away XD

Wow i’m a big fan of legos too! But i would think the real plastic army men was more fun to play with haha.

i saw these legos on commercial. and me and my brothers looked at each other and were like WE HAVE TO HAVE IT. my mom…well she thinks we’re too old to play with them

Haha. I actually bought the RC set on Monday and almost bought the soldiers as well. Surprisingly they didn’t have them at the Lego Store in Glendale but they had plenty at the Target just down on the other side of the mall. Go figure! This was my first Lego purchase in years and boy was it a good one!

I love Toy Story!!! And I really like the RC Car… I wonder is it can run as well. That would be cool! Yay for Toy Story 3! A Disney movie where the sequals don’t suck.

Is it just me or did they re-release the original Toy Story toys from the 90s cuz I SWEAR I have the same Buzz Lightyear.

Your love for Legos is like my love for Barbie. I like to go down the toy aisle to see all the different Barbies. Just to look, not to play. I don’t want to hear over the speakers “Lady, please don’t touch the Barbies” haha. Thats just a weird statement anyway but since I have a younger cousin, I have a reason to play with Barbies again. Yay!*Does the Happy Dance * But seriously, it good to know you’re still a kid at heart <3

wowowow. i want the rc car.. i’m pretty sure all of this stuff’ll be sold at the lego store in downtown disney. if you haven’t seen that place, you should. it’s amazing

Dude I loved playing with Legos as a kid. My mom got rid of my huge bin of them though. Twas a sad day. I should go to the Legos store soon then. This was a fun post Phil. Hope you get that night to play with Legos.
