American Idol is like a pretty popular show, have you heard of it?
To be truthful, until this season, I have never watched one full episode of AI. Not even the opening episodes that have all the crazy weirdos. I just couldn’t get really invested in any of the singers. But THIS season… this season is different, because our youtube peer and buddy Andrew Garcia is on the show.
I first saw Andrew in Cathy’s video last summer when they did a duet cover of “Knock you Down”.
I was instantly a fan of his voice. His sound was so unique. A few months later, we had the pleasure of meeting him at a big hangout when a few other youtubers were in town.
And now…a few months since then, he’s on national tv, millions upon millions of people watching him kick butt on the show the past few weeks as he makes his way to becoming a household name.
I’m swear I’m not trying to be biased… but he seriously is the best one on the show. He’s the most unique, AND his voice is above and beyond all the others. To me it’s a no brainer that he’ll make it to the end. But really, a lot of us who are rooting for him wouldn’t be sad if he didn’t win the GRAND prize, because it seems that the runner ups always do better. heh. In any case, it’s been so fun watching him so far, and I can’t wait to see the rest of his journey. He’s on today… be sure to vote for him. It really takes 2 seconds. You call the number, and that’s your vote. Nothing else. So watch and call. Even if you don’t watch tonight, just know that he was probably the best. lol, and you should vote for him. It’ll be a win for all of us. =)

andrew was an early favourite for me. am disappointed by the mixed reviews he’s gotten in recent weeks. i hope he stays. america, vote for him!!!

i’ve been listening and watching andrew sing on youtube for about 2 years now, and i was ecstatic when i heard he’d made it onto the show, even though i’ve only watched the first season [kelly clarkson will ALWAYS be my american idol... and andrew, hehe]. but it’s going to be interesting this season, with so many youtubers supporting him, i’m sure he’ll get VERY far with his singing dreams.<3

im not even being biased.
i’ve heard of him around youtube. but never watched anything by him until his replay cover with JRA and AJ.
and his voice is sooo good. but after that cover… watched nothing else by him.
until he went on idol and did sunday morning. i prefer his version over the original now

Um, did you not see John Park??? He’s Korean and he was one of the best in my opinion, and had a huge fanbase, but got kicked off >.< I don't watch the show anymore.

Probably the most I’ve ever voted for American Idol. I haven’t watched in years (last time I watched was with Fantasia as the winner?). He’s the reason why I started watching again.
