Hey everyone! Especially you Bay Area cool kids! Philip and I will be speaking on a panel at this years San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival! Along with Nigahiga, Kevjumba, and TimothyDeLaGhetto! The best part, is we’ve worked with all of them! It’s gonna be YouTube madness. We’ll be talking about our “paths to success” and “social marketing” Sounds kinda fancy but I’m sure it’ll just be nice casual fun ol’ time. First when I heard of the “Asian Only” events in the states, Kollaboration and this one and a few others, I thought it was some odd form of “disguised racism”. But because you seem like great people I thought it through and after thinking about it for a while I thought… where are the Asians in international entertainment (outside of kung fu movies), so I guess this is to help talented Asians get noticed because other organizations won’t?
One thing that worries me though is that people may take this as some form of “race separation” or perhaps even “Isolation” but I don’t really know how things are over in the states. I live in the quiet, peaceful Norway after all. Btw; loved all your short movies, pretty much astounding for being done with non-existent budgets and small crews. Anyway keep up the good work, and if I ever get to the point where I have some people to send your way, I will. Oh and also, is it just me or am I the only male fan you have? This is awkward. o.O
