Do you, your family, or friends own a business or have access to a location that we can shoot at? We’re always looking for cool new places to shoot our shorts and music videos, and we realized that the best resource we have was YOU! You see, everytime we have to shoot a scene at a restaurant for example, we go through all this stress of having to find a place, talk to the manager, convince him/her to let us shoot…or try and do it undercover and hope we don’t get caught. But it would be so much easier if we knew a fan/supporter who owned a restaurant and WANTED us to shoot there.
So, we want to create a list, a database, of locations around LA, or even around the world, of places that are available for us to shoot at. It could be anything, and who knows, we just might need to use it someday in the future, or very soon.
Common locations we’re looking for…
-Restaurants/Cafes
-Offices
-Businesses/shops/stores
-Galleries/Warehouses
-Clubs/Bar
-Unique homes/apartments/rooms
But don’t feel limited. If you have access to anything, let us know…even if it’s random like

-Pandora
As you can see, we’re pretty open, and we just want to see what’s available. We’re really excited to get you guys involved. Here’s how to submit!

In your SUBJECT note what the location is and where. In the email, include details about the location, how you are connected, the address, best way to contact you, anything pertinent that we should know. Even better…include photos!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
**Of course we’d be very respectful of wherever we shoot and we would give full credit to the locations and promote them. This is a great way to get “free” advertising for a businesses. We would be as low key and least disruptive as possible. We rarely have large equipment or large crews. Just us 3 and a camera. We would also work with your schedule for the best time to shoot.
**We are focusing on the Los Angeles/Orange county area, so places around here will be the most helpful to us. However, if you have a barber shop in New York, that’s cool too, who knows, we might needa shoot there some day.
**Please only email us if you have DIRECT access or contact to the owners of the location and can 100% assure us that we may have permission shoot there. Do not contact us if you have a place in mind, or think you have a friend who has a friend who has an uncle that would let us shoot.
**This is not commercial work. We are not offering to shoot commercials for these locations. We want to use them as settings for scenes we have already written in our short films or music videos.

Canada, Alberta, Calgary. Bubbleteamania = club | senjuki or dim sum =restaurant | Hotels Chinatown | Mostly homes everywhere | Apartments = A lot of them ! | Shops Stores there are many | Galleries= sure | Offices are rare kind of here but there are some | Cafes= yes of course | ok bye.

Hi, i’m a location manager from Buenos Aires, I have lots of locations you may find interesting to shoot, I’ve been worked in films, commercials, tv, videoclips, short films since 2003, so I have a very long archive full of places to shoot around my country, so if some day you need to shoot in any argentinian landscape or interior location i’ll be glad to work with you!!! I´ve been reading your blog for awhile and it for no reason occurred to me to comment. Which is fully ironic, because I´ve spent quite a lot of time over the past few months studying what it takes to make people comment on my own website. After reading a few your posts I guess it´s controversial topics that stir people´s emotions to the point where they can´t simply just ´let it go.´

My parents own this Thai Restaurant called the Thai Taste Restaurant. Simple, We have a nice outdoor dining area for the summer and a beautiful indoor dining area where we just expanded for our restaurant recently. Good space, nice environment, and it also has a good aurora to it. Once you walk in, its a nice oriental atmosphere. In the other room has some booths and some Thai puppets on the walls. A good enough space to walk around and shoot from different angles. It is not located in L.A. unfortunately. It is located up north in Santa Rosa, Ca. You can always some to Malaysia.
In Sabah (I mean Borneo), most of the tourist spots are accessible to shoot. And most of them do not required any cost. I have a friend in Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Center if you want to shoot the life of Orang Utan or etc.And you can shoot at the tip of Borneo for free too..
And more thing, you don’t have to worry about lighting and stuff because the weather is great here.

Hello, I LOVE YOU GUYS <3.
My family owns a Cafe in Oakland Chinatown C.A called Shooting star cafe' It's quite popular there are many pics on yelp or you can find us on facebook also. It's a very asian hk style cafe and alot of teenagers and young adults go there yummy food also! And you guys can eat for free! Also you guys are not limited at all there so feel free to do whatever it is that you need to do. So just let me know whenever you guys are in Nor Cal and needs a spot to chill or film.

If you ever need a place in central Arkansas, my mom has a nail salon, haha
And it’s in a shopping center that also has a Chinese restaurant, hair salon, and Little Caesar’s Pizza, too. Central AR has some nice parks and neighborhoods too. Or, you all could go to Hot Springs, AR which is famous for the hot spring and spas there.

My parents own a Convenience Store which used to be a bank, so it has vaults built into it.
And a Gift shop (similar to Hallmark) which also has a post office at the back.
The gift shop/post office is inside the York University Campus.
(2 different shops in total)

There’s an Eiffel tower in my town right by the civic center. It could be used at a great film spot:] and the best time to come is during the summer.
It’s in Paris, TX.

If you ever need a place Arkansas! My parents work at with the World Trade Center and Center and the University (and they’re big supporters too!). The scenery is really beautiful any time of year, but especially during the winter when there’s snow and springtime!

if you ever need an auto repair shop (seems unlikely though), my parents own one on Las Tunas Dr., San Gabriel, CA. San Gabriel Auto Repair Shop, Inc. (Fu Hua – pin yinged it out! whadduppp haha).
it’s very possible that you have fixed your car there (if you live in the area). but if it’s not useful for a short/film, you could always fix you car there

It’s quite a way from LA, but if you all ever want to capture some Southern hospitality on camera, I’d be more than happy to get in touch with manager(s) of some local eateries my college friends and I go to very often. Location? Nashville, TN. Vanderbilt University college campus. Here are some on-campus restaurants and some just outside the campus perimeter that I not only go to very often and have easy access to managers.
Restaurants/Coffee shops:
1. Cafe Coco (a 24 hour place that has a variety of patrons (racially diverse as well as in dressing style/fashion: hippies, goth-y/punk folks, emo, preppy, etc) and is overall very colorful. It’s a neat place to go, eat, chill, and they have a discount late night menu.
2. Starbucks (ON CAMPUS) it’s full of the many students who come through every day. Might be to cliche, but hey, who doesn’t love Starbucks
3. Fido’s: It’s just off campus (walking distance) and is a unique cute coffee shop/deli represented by the semi-famous Fido the dog.
4. Tarboosh: Also very close to campus I don’t know how you all feel about hookah smoke, but this place has great baklava, falafel, and tea. You don’t have to smoke, but it’s got a unique clientele. ( I personally know the owners)
5. The E. Bronson Arts Building. (On campus) I have personal contacts in the art department and could get permission for you all to shoot in the open art galleries/verandas on the upper floors. There are a few unique elements to the building.
