Do you, your family, or friends own a business or have access to a location that we can shoot at? We’re always looking for cool new places to shoot our shorts and music videos, and we realized that the best resource we have was YOU! You see, everytime we have to shoot a scene at a restaurant for example, we go through all this stress of having to find a place, talk to the manager, convince him/her to let us shoot…or try and do it undercover and hope we don’t get caught. But it would be so much easier if we knew a fan/supporter who owned a restaurant and WANTED us to shoot there.
So, we want to create a list, a database, of locations around LA, or even around the world, of places that are available for us to shoot at. It could be anything, and who knows, we just might need to use it someday in the future, or very soon.
Common locations we’re looking for…
-Restaurants/Cafes
-Offices
-Businesses/shops/stores
-Galleries/Warehouses
-Clubs/Bar
-Unique homes/apartments/rooms
But don’t feel limited. If you have access to anything, let us know…even if it’s random like

-Airplane
-Boat
-Pandora
As you can see, we’re pretty open, and we just want to see what’s available. We’re really excited to get you guys involved. Here’s how to submit!

In your SUBJECT note what the location is and where. In the email, include details about the location, how you are connected, the address, best way to contact you, anything pertinent that we should know. Even better…include photos!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
**Of course we’d be very respectful of wherever we shoot and we would give full credit to the locations and promote them. This is a great way to get “free” advertising for a businesses. We would be as low key and least disruptive as possible. We rarely have large equipment or large crews. Just us 3 and a camera. We would also work with your schedule for the best time to shoot.
**We are focusing on the Los Angeles/Orange county area, so places around here will be the most helpful to us. However, if you have a barber shop in New York, that’s cool too, who knows, we might needa shoot there some day.
**Please only email us if you have DIRECT access or contact to the owners of the location and can 100% assure us that we may have permission shoot there. Do not contact us if you have a place in mind, or think you have a friend who has a friend who has an uncle that would let us shoot.
**This is not commercial work. We are not offering to shoot commercials for these locations. We want to use them as settings for scenes we have already written in our short films or music videos.

this place is in the city of Yorba Linda, I dont live here, but I stumbled on this place because I use to have tennis close to here once. they have pretty cool houses because you can see the back of those people’s houses and they all have like boats and jet skis to go to each other houses. its basically just a nice cool view because dont see the usually backyard being grass, but a body of water connecting all the neighbors to eachother.

Colorado’s a bit of a way from LA but if you guys ever needed something here…
Church- I work at a church we have three different buildings, one has offices, a storage warehouse/workout setup and a nice smaller chapel for weddings, funerals etc, one has a bigger auditorium w/stage and a cafe area and the last has a gym and kid’s classrooms.
Also my house if you needed something like that

My parents own beauty supply store in Stockbridge, GA. Its in a plaza with big lots, family dollar, etc.

I can offer my house, which is in Monterey Park, CA o.o haha it’s not much but there are some features that are not of the norm. My bedroom is made out of some bookshelves we bought from Ikea and my brother’s room is a fixed up storage room in the backyard. My backyard is pretty big also so if you need a naturey shot or something.
My school, Mark Keppel High, is actually in the process of having you guys come I think. I hope to see you guys!

IN LA COUNTY: Rancho Palos Verdes.. You can shoot practically anywhere. RPV is a beautiful city with amazing views of the ocean and Los Angeles. Point Vicente is a great place to shoot.. There’s an ocean view, and a lighthouse.. it’s a trail/ picnic area. Or maybe Terranea Resort. I am in no way affiliated with any of these sites, but I’ve seen many people take pictures and shoot videos there. The Terranea Resort is not only a gorgeous hotel for tourists and other visiting people, but it’s also a public site where many local residents stop by to have dinner or walk around to admire the ocean. Hope you can stop by to shoot a short!

Sounds Good, I’ll let my Asian Buddies know in Cali for places for you to shoot. Boston is good too, but needs a timed-window slot of time to shoot cause its busy every day randomly in downtown Boston.

Hey guys,
Always willing to help you guys out.
1. San Francisco – I have a house in the upper sunset district.
2. Santa Cruz – Apartments + houses you guys can crash at, or shoot, whatever.
3. Restaurant – I’m the manager, but the restaurant is also family owned. Come enjoy some food while you’re here too
On the misc side of things, I know good places to shoot around SF if you need also. If you’re looking for restaurants/cafe’s in San Francisco, I can talk to my friends, who would be down to help also. If you’re looking for more scenic views, I have a couple in mind also.
I’m also at UCSC right now, and there’s many of us who would love to help out. The CSA (chinese student association) along with my fraternity (Alpha Phi Omega) would love to help out in anyway. I tried to talk to Wesley bout setting up a time you guys can do an outreach here, which I should follow up on.

Maybe if you have time you should come to calgary in the summer (it’s not snowing in the summer i promise bwahahahah) and i have a uncle that own a pho shop which you are able shoot on or my parents flower shop if it works for u and finally there is a beach house down here which would be a great place to shoot i totally missed when you guys were in calgary and i wish i can see you guys soon

highland park outside of dallas tx…where filthy rich people lives. u might run into george bush here lol. they have old french cottage looking houses in certain area. There’s a few people with their lambo. parked outside cuz thats how much they trust in their neighborhood lol. i would park my lambo outside if i had one…

The asian club in my skool really like to bring in people…and my friends are in the e-board…maybe we can do sumthing if u are stopping by NYC – so far the cool thing they did was got approved and allow a far east movement and magnetic north to perform at the school =D

I have a house in the O.C it’s not big enough to be a mansion but it’s pretty close, my favorite part of the place is the balcony, it’s beautiful and you might find it helpful. The only thing is I won’t be there until this summer so you can only use it while I’m there from mid-June to mid-August

you guys can come shoot at UC Riverside, we have the commons upstairs, the HUB, the dorms, I’m pretty sure shooting at a college campus should be fine. i don’t think you would need permission. Come down to riverside! we have a nice belltower =D

If you ever need a place to shoot in the South Bay, my parents own a restaurant in Santa Clara. It’s kind of small, old, run-down and doesn’t seem like the usual Chinese restaurant (to me), but I guess it has its own unique charm. I’ll ask them about it and get some pictures when I go home for spring break at the end of the week.

Probably kinda late now but my family does have a vacant photography studio in LA up for rent. Not sure if it would have fit your budget or needs since it is kinda large. It’s literally a mile away from Chinatown.

Hm.. well my family owns Pronto Donuts on Garvey in Monterey Park, but it’s a pretty small place so I don’t know if it’d be a great place to shoot. BUT if you’re ever in or around the area of Phoenix, Arizona, you could always shoot at our gas station
