You guys did a pretty good job, but assembling something can be done really easily. First off you want to separate everything so they’re in their right places. Throw away the boxes ahead of time. Then next, carefully review, not read, but review the manual and start trying to piece things together. Then progressively work from there.
Wes had the right idea by screwing them in by hand FIRST! It ensures that screw will be straight and they won’t loose thread — when that happens you’re screwed. Then follow through with a drill akin to what Ted is using. But with Ted, you need to use both arms. If you’re right handed, the left hand, like Ted was doing actually needs to be the other way around — pointing down. That way all the weight of your body helps keep the screws down and in place. And Phil, well, that’s hard to say.
But on the upside you guys did finish so that’s all that’s important. It would have been funny though that the moment that Ted leaned on the desk that it fell apart –> just for kicks. But anyway, good job guys! The office is definitely coming into it’s own. You’re BTHR’s favorite production group both on YouTube and in general, and that’s REALLY saying a lot since none of us really agree on much!
