For the past 8 months we’ve been working on this “secret” project with KevJumba. You saw all the sneak peeks here, the random photos and updates of when he came into town. Now you finally know what it’s for. Why did it take so long? No, we weren’t working 8 months straight on the series. It’s because Kev doesn’t live in LA, so he had to fly in when his schedule allowed. He’d stay with us a few days and while he was here, we’d shoot as much as we could before he had to leave, and then we’d schedule another few days a month later for him to come back. This process repeated for 8 months.

This is the longest a project has ever spanned for us. Another reason why it required so much time is because this series was literally made with just the 3 of us and Kevin. We had no crew and no budget. And when working with resources like that, things take a little more time, and require a ton more work. We were doing this on top of various other projects as well (AJs and David’s music videos, Tech Romance, Autumn and Spring Tours). I keep stressing the point that we did this with no crew, but it’s because I’m pretty proud of that fact. So many videos out there are made with tons of money and teams of people, but we produced this with barely a fraction of all that. But it wouldn’t have happened without the great cast members we worked with and a few friends who lended a hand.

Notice that we got to include a lot of other “youtube stars” in this series and they were all soooo awesome in being down to act and be a part of the project. It was actually our first time working with a lot of them. Natalie, Matt, Kina, and Ryan were all brand new, and we’re so lucky to have had the chance. They were all very enthused, really talented, and extremely fun to work with. Glad we can say that we’re friends now. Hopefully it won’t be the last time we get to feature them in a WFP video.

Anyway…I could go on and on about this series and what went into it…but I know you just wanna see it for yourself.  For now, enjoy the trailer…and stay tuned this June. “June” is a whole month I know, and it’s vague for a reason (partly because we’re still editing and have a couple things left to shoot) but it’s coming. We’ll keep you updated here on this page, so check back!
