Just got a few photos in an email..

Remember the vlog we did promoting the World Expo in Shanghai and how the USA Pavilion and Committee of 100 were planning on building a wall of faces of Chinese Americans? Well, the Expo has opened, and so has this exhibit!

What’s really cool is that they made a “moving” wall which projected the collage of thousands of faces, AND they made a physical wall underneath it using bricks, honoring those who helped make the exhibit possible.

And guess who was given a brick. =)

We were honored to be given this gift. I’ve never been so grateful for a block of ceramic material. They asked us over a month ago what we would like our brick to say. Here’s our brick in all it’s Shanghai glory.

I think I might hafta make a trip out there just to see it for myself, but it’s pretty cool knowing that on the other side of this world, we’ve made a mark.

Thanks to Joy Xu for sending in these photos.

ps….no we haven’t forgotten about the massive photo collage we promised we’d make from the FB wall. haha. We’ll get to it. There were over 2000 photos submitted… we’ll need some time. =P
