Just found this through facebook minifeed (thanks Erik Ho) and had to immediately share. Beautiful story. Incredibly touching. Music/sound perfect. Probably very close to home for a lot of you reading.
I haven’t seen a lot of these Google search stories (only other one was the ‘moving to Paris’ one)…but this one, really got me.
Go hug your parents right now if you can. They’ve sacrificed and done a crap ton for you, and most of our existence we’ve just cried about not getting the toys we wanted or whined to them for not letting us stay out late with friends. You’re growing up now. Give back a little. Make them proud.
Thanks mom, thanks dad. You were so brave. I’m growing up now. Time for me to take you on that “affordable vacation”.
