We’re really excited for this year’s shows. Everything has improved. We’ve added some incredible help behind the scenes (Hey Diana), the new website is more interactive and organized (designed by Ted!), the posters look amazing as ever (designed by Wes)…and now this trailer just sends it over the top. Definitely props to everyone involved in the preparations.
Even more exciting is just seeing how far ISA has come since the first show in Sept 2008. 2 years and ISA has truly become a concert series to remember and anticipate. We’re so proud to have started this with Far East Movement, and we’re incredibly thankful that the fans and community have reacted to it with such positivity and support.
Why is ISA important? Yes, there are a lot of Asian American acts, and it’s original purpose was to highlight AA talent. But this isn’t just a show for Asian people to enjoy. The reason ISA was created is because it’s rare that mainstream outlets and major companies will create or support a show on this level that was for the AA community featuring AA talent. We took it upon ourselves to create what we knew the talent deserved, and also what the fans wanted to see. We believed in the artists and because of YOU, ISA continues to thrive to serve as inspiration for young people around the world and a representation of what our community is capable of beyond what the mainstream provides.
