Well, we opened things up for you to voice your thoughts, and in 1 day of shooting, and 1 day of editing we put together Episode 2 for you all to enjoy! Check it out up there, then come back here to read some BTS commentary.

In case you don’t know, we’re using AwayWeHappened.com as the site where fans can submit ideas and vote, and the top 5 suggestions with the most votes are considered by us. From these we try to continue the story in a believable and possible way. This past week, the top votes went to Allison, Robert, Jenny and Benson who each gave us a little piece of what we should do next. Thanks for your help!

It was quite clear that the majority of viewers felt the letter should be to Jean’s ex. We included that, and where it goes, we’ll have to see in the upcoming episodes. The idea for going through each other’s bags was also thrown in and we made most of the episode revolve around them learning about each other through the contents of their suitcases. And of course, we allude to the fact that they have agreed to meet up in LA, which it seems just about everyone wanted to see (thank goodness).

We added a funny moment when Lynn, Jean’s friend, says that Jean is dying as a tribute to all the off-the-wall comments that said we should go super dramatic and make Jean die. Hope you liked that little nod to the crazy suggestions, we wish we could go that outrageous, haha.

So now the story continues. A missing letter to an ex-boyrfriend, a flirtatious relationship forming right before meeting. Episode 3 is right around the corner! Oh wait, we have to go make it now. Voting is already over and we have a new set of Top 5 suggestions. Time to write and shoot over the weekend! Wish us luck!
