It’s been absurdly busy the past few weeks as multiple projects are coming together, or beginning, on top of traveling for tour. There’s so much for us to share, but we haven’t had the time. Here’s a quick sneak peek at some videos coming your way very soon!

While we were in Texas for tour we were invited to the Funimation headquarters where we were immersed in our favorite anime series and made a really fun and special WFWeekends.

A few days later, we were in Minnesota for another show, but we took a short drive out to a place where we could drive tanks and fire machine guns! Definitely our most macho WFWeekends yet.

And after coming back from the road we went right into production for our mini series “Company Car”. So far we’ve released only the first episode, but here’s a look at what’s to come next!

Wow, our enormous SE Asia/Australia tour is almost complete! Sorry for being so aloof and not updating while we were out here… but internet was very hard to find, and our schedules were JAM PACKED with either traveling, or events, or interviews. Yup, we did A LOT of interviews. Too many to name and I think we’ll share a few here and there, but for now, here are some major press hits we got on national newspapers and websites.

Wong Fu on Malaysia’s top radio station!

We’ve been in Malaysia for 3 days now, and we have SO much to cover and catch up on. It’s been a whirlwind of press conferences, interviews, and today’s epic event. So much to say, but until we have more time to gather everything, we just wanted to share this great video of our radio interview from last night. What are two guys who don’t sing or rap, from a group that doesn’t do anything musical, doing on a radio station?? haha. We were just as confused as you are, but it’s still an honor to have been on the show. A lot of fun, and this video is just so well put together! Can’t believe this was going out to millions across the country. Some old taxi driver out there now knows who we are! lol Enjoy!

*As you can see Ted is not there with us, sadly. He really wanted to come with us, and we wanted him there too, but unfortunately some personal issues came up last minute that prevented him from traveling with us.*

We’ve toured all over North America, seen fans in Korea and Taiwan, and now we’re crossing the Pacific yet again to Malaysia for the first time! We’re proud to announce that WFP will be visiting Malaysia on February 4th!

Wong Fu meets the President of the USA!

To many peoples’ surprise, we tweeted/facebooked on Thursday night that we had flown over to Washington DC for one day for a very special event. We didn’t reveal too much about our plans to go over and what we were doing there because honestly, we weren’t sure either. But on Thursday night, Wes and Phil had the honor of meeting the President and First Lady of the United States, Barack and Michelle Obama!

The White House Initiative on Asian American and Pacific Islanders is a committee established by the Obama administration to keep him up to date on the issues happening in the AAPI community. For his holiday reception this year, the AAPI was asked to invite certain community leaders to attend, and we were included on this guest list. Being invited to the White House at all is a huge honor. How many people can say they got to go the President’s holiday party? But then we were informed the day before that we would have the chance to meet Obama himself. We couldn’t believe it.

Walking into the White House felt like we were walking into history, it was so beautiful. The party was grand and everything was decorated wonderfully (Christmas trees literally every 30 feet). To To meet the president we had an allotted time to stand in line (like a meet&greet for Mickey Mouse, haha) and after several check points we were in the same room as Barack. We were escorted by a military service man in formal uniform up to the president, presented with our names, and we had about 10 seconds to shake his hand, say a few words, and take a photo. It happened so fast, but…it happened.

What an honor. I don’t know what else to say. I can’t believe that these videos we make on Youtube have brought us to the White House, to the President. Thank you so much to Eddie from the AAPI Initiative for inviting us to be a part of this huge honor that we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. We have some video from our visit, but for now until we edit it together, hope the photos give a good feel.

Ted couldn’t make it because of a prior engagement that he couldn’t get out of unfortunately. Don’t worry Ted, we’ll be back here again someday!

This past week we’ve been on the road for our Autumn Tour. It’s been a lot of fun seeing all the people come out to support and hear us talk. The best part so far has been going to brand new cities that we’ve never been to.

“Still In Love With You” – Making the Video

About a month after its premier, we’re very proud to give you a look at what went on behind the scenes to create this music video. It was by far one of the craziest experiences we’ve been through, super stressful, but ultimately very fulfilling, because we thankfully finished in time! It’s a long watch, but hopefully this gives you an idea about how much work went into this project.

Autumn Tour 2011

It’s that time of year! Autumn is here and we’re heading out for a few special events. Unlike past tours though where we had a super long schedule, we had to scale it back this year to just a handful of stops. There’s too much other work we have to take care of back at home so we sadly cannot go to as many schools as we could. For now, if you’re one of the 4, we’ll see you soon!
