We made it onto Mashable which is huge. They’re one of the biggest websites when it comes to what’s new and up and coming in social/new media and the web. I actually remember thinking a couple months ago “hm, wonder when WF might get on Mashable…” And here we are. Very cool, thanks Mashable! Click below for their take on the project.

We also had AllKpop come out to cover the premiere. They did a really nice job, and we’re always glad to make it onto their huge site, especially because we’re not Korean. (if only WFP had a korean memberrr, haha)

Just for fun, here’s a fun video of a guy reviewing A.S.S. all the way from Norway. Isn’t it incredible this time that we’re in? Where a group of friends can independently make a short movie, put it online, and instantly someone around the world can watch and give us feedback? We’re like, in the future…

Thanks “That Norwegian Guy”! There’s something about your video that really made me smile. I like the way he spelled things out very clearly and concisely, while adding editorial one-liners. And he proves he actually knows what he was talking about… even getting my last name’s pronunciation correct! We need more educated YT audience members like this. Trolls ftl!

It’s been a couple weeks since ISA LA. I’ve been meaning to do a big photo dump of the epicness that was ISA 2010, but there’s just too much to go through, and we’re swamped right now. Luckily, there are much more capable people out there and today AllKPop, a HUGE korean pop news site released their review of the ISA 2010 concerts with a ton of great photos and video.

I say that not just because they liked the concert, but because they actually understood what ISA really stands for, the history, and how important it is to the community. I appreciate it when people write about things that they really research or are passionate about.

In just a short three years, ISA founders Wong Fu Productions and Far*East Movement have transformed this show from a community-based project to an internationally viral platform of creative inspiration. What truly defines ISA is the fascinating relationship between the audience and artists. Avid followers get to know these artists through their YouTube videos, tweets, blogs and Facebook updates. With content so raw and honest put into motion through social media, fans are able to instantly connect with their favorite artists. For these ISA attendees, it was as if they were cheering on their friends at a sports game or recital – the energy level was intimate yet vivaciously synergetic.

Do you listen to Cpop, Kpop or Jpop? (Chinese pop music, Korean pop music or Japanese pop music) I used to a lot more but nowadays since I’ve stopped using bittorrent (ie stopped illegally downloading music) because I just don’t have the time to do that anymore my exposure to them has diminished.  I pretty much just listen to whatever is on the radio, unfortunately for me all they play these days is lil wayne and they might as well be playing the brown note because it would have the same affect on me.  I do enjoy hearing what you guys have to say so answer this poll for me:
