When I think back to past Christmases from my childhood, I really do remember that joy and excitement from opening presents. What did Santa bring me this year?? And later when I grew up, What did Mom give in to buy me this year? I remember getting this awesome toy called a Flying Fighter. It was a jet fighter that had a joy stick attached to the back that made sounds.

[Google is amazing, I forgot what the toy was called but a few searches in and BAM, there it is!].

Another year I got Mario Kart

(SNES, yes, old… and it was $60 my mom says).

Another highlight was getting the Nerf Crossbow one year.

Yes, my Nerf obsession starts from way back.

But I think the gift that trumps all of these nostalgic memories, is the gift of your support. I know we say it over and over, but I don’t think we’ll ever stop. If you’ve stuck with us another year, another Christmas, thank you for another year of following us, commenting, watching, sharing, and just joining us for another 12 months of excitement and growth.

I don’t need my parents to buy me Nerf guns anymore, but I still need you to believe in us, and this is why it’s the greatest gift. Thank you. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

While FM was giving their performance, I was on the side of the stage looking out at the crowd pressed against the front of the stage. I specifically looked at the faces of all the fans, trying to put myself in their shoes and guess what they were thinking based on their faces. Wide eyes, huge smiles, cameras up, hands reaching out. They’d snap a pic, show their friends, they’d say some words with smiles and laughter. I felt like we were really creating some strong and wonderful memories for these young people, and that makes me the most happy. Not the “fame” or popularity, not that we get to meet other “famous” people, none of that. It’s the fact that we are affecting lives in a positive way, even just for a night, one memory for them to look back on and say, wow…I remember that night with my friends at ISA in 2011, that was one of the best, most memorable nights of my life.

Thank you fans and supporters in San Jose and the entire Bay Area for coming out with incredible love and energy. We had a great time and you can be sure that we’ll be back again! Photos and more updates to trickle in… but for now… let’s flyyyyyYYYyyy! Up up here we go!!

Thank you to Diana and the ISA staff who, without them, this show would not have happened. Thank you to Far East Movement, Kevin Wu, and Ryan Higa taking ISA on this great journey. And thank YOU! Even if you weren’t there physically, your spirit was there. In any city we go to, we can count on having super supporters and fans come out to show us love and that means the world to us. Really though, the 3 of us here at Wong Fu Productions don’t need a special ONE day to say thank you to all our fans and supporters out there, because EVERYDAY we are thankful and feel soooooo blessed to have you checking our website, following us on facebook/twitter/youtube, buying and wearing our NG shirts, and just watching our videos and telling your friends and family. We are constantly aware and telling people that we would be nowhere without your love and support. Tours wouldn’t exist, video blogs would be *poof*, and we definitely wouldn’t have the luxury of telling our stories and sharing them with the world, as our job.

With that said… Thank you. Really. Thank you. You may think you haven’t done anything for us because you’re just sitting behind your computer and we’ve never met, but we read every comment, and in reality, every hit/view/purchase DIRECTLY effects us…so you really have no idea how much you alone mean to us. =)

It is with great pleasure to say that we made his list today. Read his post about us. I’m honored to be recognized by such an influential individual himself, and to be on the same list as the others is very humbling…but kinda cool. I do read his blog on a regular basis, but I’ll admit, that this month I was a little more anxious, hoping we’d make the cut. haha. At the same time, being acknowledged as “influential” is not something we take lightly. We’ve known for awhile that a lot of ppl were following us, and watching us. And really, that’s a lot of pressure. We don’t want to screw up, we don’t want to let all our supporters down. Most of all, we don’t want to “waste” this huge gift we’ve been given that is your support. With that said, we gratefully accept this position and will do our very best to do good things in the community and industry when we have the chance. Just wanted to let you all know how thankful we are to have you all here reading, and watching. You make us who we are.
