Really though, the 3 of us here at Wong Fu Productions don’t need a special ONE day to say thank you to all our fans and supporters out there, because EVERYDAY we are thankful and feel soooooo blessed to have you checking our website, following us on facebook/twitter/youtube, buying and wearing our NG shirts, and just watching our videos and telling your friends and family. We are constantly aware and telling people that we would be nowhere without your love and support. Tours wouldn’t exist, video blogs would be *poof*, and we definitely wouldn’t have the luxury of telling our stories and sharing them with the world, as our job.

With that said… Thank you. Really. Thank you. You may think you haven’t done anything for us because you’re just sitting behind your computer and we’ve never met, but we read every comment, and in reality, every hit/view/purchase DIRECTLY effects us…so you really have no idea how much you alone mean to us. =)

Ok, it’s getting too mushy between us…let’s shifty the thanking… What else can we be thankful for? Gather with your family and friends around the computer and let’s see what our past Wong Fu videos have taught us…

UGHH. NEVER drive on I-5 (main freeway between southern and northern CA) on the sunday after Thanksgiving. This is a freeway that goes through the middle of nowhere and is typically a prime stretch of road for speeding. Instead, today it was congested for most of the 300 mile trip with everyone returning back to their respective homes after the holiday, back to work… like us.

It was a nice week “off”, though we did bring work home with us, and now we’re back. I’m pretty exhausted after driving for 8 hours…So I’ll just leave by saying, there’s some big updates coming this week, and later this month. For starters the HK DVD goes on sale this week. And we’re releasing a “new” short. Just a little something we put together specifically for the ISA concert back in September. Here’s a couple preview stills just for our faithful readers.

Nice one down there Wes. I soooo do not use links. I’m going to try to use yours’ and ted’s style now. Really? Yeah, I totally am. omigosh this is gonna be lame. Anyway, hope you all had a wonderful day. Mine was incredibly busy cooking up a storm. I had the super tedious and difficult job of making…Gravy.

If you can read those directions at the center, you can see that I spent long hours slaving over the microwave stove. Props to my sister and mom for doing, the rest.

So it’s close to midnight and I’ve got the belt loosened, reclining in my chair. Imsostuffedandablob. You see, each year I have to have two thanksgiving dinners. Two? Yes. This is incredible don’t you think? ok I have no idea what’s going on and now this is awkward…

You see, when my parents first came over to the US, they lived in Minnesota and Indiana. And apparently the way they do Thanksgiving in the Midwest is, Thanksgiving “lunch”. Eating at 2pm-ish and I guess, digesting the rest of the day. So my mom is still on this Midwest tip, and as long as I can remember, we’ve had Thanksgiving at 2pm. Dinner #1. And then, since the rest of the people in CA are on a normal schedule, our family friends eat dinner at…dinner time. And we go off to Dinner #2.

After several helpings of turkey, ham, potatoes, peas, pie, wine…I’m ready to hit the bathroom bed. <eww grossss>

Oh yeah…btw…

I’ve been sitting here trying to think of what to blog about.  Sorry I’ve been kinda MIA for awhile.  I’m so ready to get this HK dvd off my hands haha.  Off my hands and into yours!  But I don’t really want to talk about work right now.  It’d make the most sense for me to say something about Thanksgiving, I guess.  But..wouldn’t that be like..the easy way out.  We can be a little more creative than that right?

Okay…who am I kidding it’s 4am and I’m tired.  THANKS for reading this pointless blog entry!  Haha.  Sorry that was mean.  I’ll give you more than that.  Ugh.  What a mess of nonsense.  < Rhymage.  You know how the three of us post on this blog?  And Phil’s been pretty active lately.  Well actually, he’s picking up the slack for my absence.  But I was wondering…if we didn’t put our names, would you guys be able to tell who posted what?  Actually…it’s not that hard.  TWSS.  But it could still be fun.  TWSS.  Maybe if we tried to write in the style of each other…that’d make things a bit more interesting.  Ted’s pretty good with his strikethroughs.  And Phil…he throws in a lot of links.  Wait.  What am I talking about?  Nevermind.  No..wait.  Wha?

So who’s down for some Black Friday shopping?  Wow I’m sorta back on the topic of Thanksgiving.  No.  Shopping and Thanksgiving are/should be completely separate.  It’s sad that I associated the two.  Family and friends totally pwn ridiculously limited low price electronics.  It’s close though.  But yea…I haven’t kept up with what places have sales…besides every place.

I feel like Philip and Ted are gonna scold me for such a pointless blog.  I mean..I don’t have any strikethroughs OR links.  I’m sorry.  I probably should have wrote a heartfelt thank you to all our supporters.  I’m terrible.  I’m gonna go hide in my corner now.  Save me some turkey.  I promise I’ll be good.

Good morning. It’s about 5am. Wes is still working on the dvd. Ted’s still working on orders…and I just finished and uploaded the 2nd Tour video blog. Since it’s also Monday, I figure this would serve as our offer to you as your distraction for the day, because we all LOVE Mondays.

 

Whether you’re at work or school, sitting in your office, cubicle, or dormroom, classroom, bedroom…I’m sure Wong Fu has at some point in time served as a good way to procrastinate or pass time. Glad we can be there to serve that noble purpose.* 

Although, this is not a typical week, it’s Thanksgiving week…so this particular Monday isn’t so bad right? Because in a few days you’ll be gathering around the table with family and friends to eat a big dead bird. And then the next day you’ll be crying over parking and waiting in checkout lines as you battle to save $50 on that TV or $5 on that shirt. It’s the start of a GREAT week! Glad you can start it with us.

I’m guessing most people are waking up right now for school or work in some parts of the country. I wonder how many ppl check us as one of the first things in their day. hmmm
